scout perk seemed reasonable to me, but what about the players who are already lvl 21 and can't take any more perks?
Fuck em(and me), they dont need the scout perk by then 75% the time anyways.   :-*

Yeah, that sounds pretty good, but it should be optional, for people that actually have fast internets.

I have somewhat fast internet connection, yet still those 2 of delay seconds equals eating 2 free burst before even reacting or not...

It happened BEFORE I was a GM too, as I already said. ;) And thus I have normal FoV as everyone else.

Sorry, didn't read carefully enough ;p Maybe because of the 2.5D?

Also, I think the client loads all items/players etc on the map too, even if you just have normal FoV.

Pretty sure that not, when I was in the map with a pile of 10.000 of each item on the ground, when one of the pile was entering in my FoV, I had a big lag/freeze. And if i was running and see suddenly 2/3 piles at the same time, INSANE lag.

map loads and i can walk around then 5 seconds later people and items load. every time i go to my tent i think i've been robbed

I dont know how easy it is to change but yea there is that delay always at least 2-3 seconds... an enemy quick on his feet can kill you by that time...

I have a decent pc and decent connection but that issue remains so I think that while Solars may be Internet/PC related that he has such a huge time spent, the bare minimum of 2 to 5 is from the engine in fact.

Similarly with TB by the way... annoyingly during those 5-6 seconds people act in Real Time despite the fact that it should be TB. I have done it myself that I enter an encounter and have time to fire a burst in RT before the game goes in TB which is also lethal... To make matters worse many times you burst, TB starts and its your turn again! So you can end up doing a full clip of bursts just like that.
