Dear Wastelanders,

we have some persistent bugs within the server application now. Those are really hard to find and catch, cause server crashes and shows signs of memory leaks. The server application is under thorough inspection right now, which is both, resources and time consuming. Additionally, there are other problems caused by these bugs - like the latest ones with incredibly high ID values assigned to newly registered players and stuff missing from inventories.

We will keep the server running, but you may expect regular crashes in time intervals 60-90 minutes. While it will be hard to play under such circumstances, we appeal for patience and understanding. To estimate when the current issues will be resolved is quite hard right now, but we will do whatever we can to deal with it as swift as possible. Keep tracking this thread for any news that might pop-up soon.

surely the best thing to do would be to have a complete character wipe, and wipe the ID numbers, starting them again and be far harsher on alts?

if it would preserve server integrity i would even request a anti-alt system like Face Of Mankind, which is hugely rigid and IP based, but i dont think that will really be necessary
