I second, maybe not the flint itself, but I def +1 being able to use a primitive tool to harvest fibers.

Yeah kind similar idea, but still my suggestion is just about doing flint for cutting fiber

Also, you don't have always flint when you find fibers, but... there is a chance you still have teeth.

Make it possible to cut eat fibers with teeth, finally a use of them.

Just please, what's next? You can pull out the fibers if you have 10 ST? A knife can be so easily crafted or looted (heck, even combat knives work), just please stop this shazbottry.

flint was used to make (!) sharpened spear, so i wonder - can it be used for cutting fiber, because iron blade is way more hard to sharp then cut fiber from plant

Flint is what makes the spear Sharpened, but I like this idea, I kind pick up a piece of flint and get fiber
instead of me leaving the enc, going to tent, get a knife, come back to find another enc with a fiber plant

Flint is just a rock. Keep the knives.

A real suggestion...a shovel can dig up the entire plant. 16 fibers in one shot, but then you need to carry a shovel around with you. Not an old shovel...too dull, a new crafted shovel will do it.

Knife is re-useable.

Flint would act as primitive tool vs wood. (depletion)

Or just make flint into prim tool and have it make same effect on plant as on tree.

actually cutting plant of desert, taking plant to tent, and *dismante* fiber plant into 2-3 hq fibers can be great maybe advanced workbench + plant can make some hq fiber, with use of something(flint for example or combat knife).

i shoud agree with the ideea, since fibers are only used for armor and water bags, and any decent survivor needs a jacket or 2, also now even a sledge is hard to make

I like that even better. To get HQ fiber you need a shovel and dig up entire plant and can Fixboy up some HQ fiber at an advanced workbench.
