"Rumors tell a lot of people ragged in dirty, brown potatoe bags aroused in the wasteland. People in Bluesuits seem to be almost extinct"

We are working on a little mod that finally replaces all of the bluesuit skins to true wasteland clothing (sand robes). :)
I will post the link here when it's done.

The mod is finished now.

Description again: This appearance mod changes your (heh) appearance ingame. If you have no armor on (aka "bluesuit") it will display the "sandrobe" instead. If you want to wear a bluesuit, you have to buy a normal robe at the CoC in Necropolis. Then, the bluesuit will be same equippable as an armor. :)

It basically looks like this:

Normal, without armor appearance (every other player normally wearing a bluesuit will appear the same) :

The in-inventory appearance if one has a bluesuit as an item:

And the bluesuit laying on ground:

So, note again, this is only for the people who want to get rid of the standard bluesuit and want everyone to look more "wastelandish" - with the ability to wear the vault suit as an "armor".

What to do for installation?

If you play a male character:

1. Download the files (link below)
2. Extract all the files to your normal FOnline Directory.
3. Open the "patch.me" file and just delete the line "bluesand_female.dat"
4. Have fun.

If you play a female character
, do exact the same as above, just without step 3.

Ofcourse all the ingame descriptions are still the old ones, but this is the most we can do, because this is all just client sided, not server sided. This is how just YOU see these appearance changes, for other people who not installed this mod you still look as if it the mod is not installed (obviously ;) ).

And a little gimmick, I packed two new appearance also into the download.

A different Leather Armor Look, it looks like this:

It is basically the same, just a bit more worn and torn, more brown in it.

And, a little alternate appearance for "Ian" like NPCs ingame (like the blue pants-Marauders for example)
He looks more aged, has grey hair and so on.

And if you want to deinstall all that, just remove the files from your directory. ;) If you just want to deinstall a certain appearance .dat file, just open your patch.me file which comes with the download and delete the name of said .dat file.

I hope you enjoy it and things aren't too messed up, even if it has still a few flaws. Thanks again for Wipe packing and coding everything and X'il from NMA for his work on the critters. If you got any questions, just use this thread here.

This mod makes the men from Vault City look like bums but I do not care about that.

This is really cool. I hope they make the sand robed figure the default appearance for the unarmed player character in the future. What was that blue suit with no number anyway? were we all Vault City outcasts?

Anyway thanks a lot.

Most likely tribal set will be used, but this need a FRM Hero to finish missing animations.

Why work on the tribal set missing animations if we already have all we need for the robed figure?

I don't mind anyway. Tribal set looks cool too.

Surf! you know that the Brown Leather Armor skin would be an ideal skin for the Leather Armor MKII? :)

What do we do if we have another patch.me file from another mod? open both and merge?
