Yes, the leveling up process is still important. But if you are on 21, you do what? Yes, making an alt, or doing pvp all day long. Testing how the playability of new chars is good for the next wipes I think.

i agree with that  also i agree with Surf Solar its would be end problems with people who wanna test new build and make alts

Why would anyone waste a lvl 21 character on a suicide bomber when lvl 1 chars are just as effective?

Effective bombers don't sneak, they just wait for people to group together in NCR. Any char that does it more than a few times will be attacked on sight so why would you do that on a high level char?

Are you going to say why?

I can say why.

To test whether a character is viable, we now need to level it up, like in post-release game. As testers, we have to go through all the fire and water the release players will go through. So, if there is no such option post-release, it should not be in before. And if there IS such an option psot-release, FOnline suddenly becomes another MMO project. You want rerolls? go play Allods, they ahve better graphic too.

I would want this game to be hard in a special way. Not the "Kill 3234589 mobs to reach next level" way.

Mostly because it's Fallout, not a flash game or WoW. Why not removing Turn-Based combat, too ? Hum...

If you remember I was pro turnbased, anyways the point is right now fonline is just a huge tedious grind to 21 because the only viable way to get xp is crafting since you can only get a few levels from PVE since it stops being profitable early on. This means only crafters can level efficiently and combat builds take forever. Game mechanics whose sole purpose is to stretch out boring tasks are common in games that charge you monthly to play, they benefit from it. But in a free game, specifically one that that is supposed to be in a testing phase all this does is slow down the testing process.

That's the point, it was to show you're being quite a hypocrite. You keep saying it's Fallout so it should be Turn-Based, but what we're saying is it's not WoW so it shouldn't have skill resets.

This has nothing to do with "being like wow", this has to do with testing the game properly.

It would make too many exploits possible, it isn't realistic, and... Well, it just doesn't fit the game at all. In my opinion.

For example: Take the easiest way to level up from the start, once you hit level 21 just reset skill points and perks. This would make it insanely easy to get the exact char you want to a high level in a shorter period of time.

There is a way to level up faster. I made character yesterday and now Im lvl 16. Soon 17, you just have to find a way :)
There are two bad things about it, first is you can't do it alone, and second is when you do it Reconite will call you gay :D
