What affects merc prices? I wanted to buy a minigun merc for 1000 caps at the NCR and she wanted over 8000 caps from me.  :-\
Depends on how often players buying these mercs, with every merc bought it's price increases.

I'm pretty sure 1,000 caps for that merc is a typo in the Wiki. 1,000 caps for a minigun merc is completely out of place with all the other merc prices. You could take its weapon and resell it for more than that.

I'd say it's 7,000-8,000 base price, in reality.

My own questions:

If you have Lockpick 300%, will Expanded Lockpicks add an extra 50% to that (for purposes of crafting strong locks and etc.) or is it basically capped at 300%? How about Repair and Super Tool Kit, same principle?

Also, does adding more Outdoorsman beyond 150% increase speed any further, or just the rate of previewing encounters?

I've been looking around on the forums for a while now trying to get some info on the approximate spawn points for various bases.

In particular, the Gas Station. It's purchased in Redding, does that mean that in general it will be located around Redding? Or could we end up as far away as north of Modoc/Klamath/VC? In that same vein, would it be equally likely to get something as far south as Gordon's/New Reno/San Fran?

Anyone care to share their experience with the base spawn locations?

EDIT: And if anyone has any definite info on #'s of containers in any of the bases, that'd be useful too. The wiki is quite hit-and-miss for base info.

Market price + value of equipment. Market price falls when no one buys the merc and rises a little (globally) with each hiring.

What's your endurance and/or LK? Eat buffout, make 10 LK, knockouts will be a holiday for your enemy.

During this fight? I was on my 10 Luck 10 En char (with drugs obviously...)
Believe me, they happen more, even my ennemies noticed that ;p

I'm not sure why you're talking down to me. If you'll read the Wiki entry (which needs to be clarified), it's pretty obvious I'm correct: http://www.fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/Mercenaries

The Wiki entries all seem to include "gun price" in the listed "base price" for every merc except that one. That's why it's confusing.

Like I said, it's because the Wiki article's base price includes the weapon for all mercs except that one:

Does anyone know a perfect program to record FOnline 2238? I tried : Fraps, Wegame, Camtasia. None of them work PERFECTLY! When I say perfectly I mean to record such stuff as Text also. Because I have a youtube account but my quality of FOnline 2238 gameplay's kinda suck. As I saw Izual eyes or something... That gm dude, doesnt have e good quality eather! Does anyone know atleast THE BEST PROGRAM TO RECORD FONLINE?!
