Izual: If I understand it correctly, Hololasima is arguing about he got banned for spoiling even though he was giving the advice, when the award was already found from another player...
and if this is true, then I have to agree with him, that there is no sense in giving ban for spoiling to someone just because event ending wasnt announced officially, when the award was already claimed by some player and in fact this spoiling (if it is even spoiling) cant ruin nothing, because no other player could get the reward...

The temporarily ban was on IRC and he is unbanned already long time before.
And he spoiled it seconds after the event got even announced. Those events aren't just about the reward, it's fun for people trying to solve the riddle. People spoiling the fun for others are therefore not good.
