Hello, I suggested this in the suggestion topic but rarely 1 response came and maybe it was not a good time of posting
. So again, I would like to express my dislike for the current state of the fact, that is, theres no mid tier armor available in the game (non-risk)
Leather armor mk2 has worse resistance to normal damage than combat leather jacket (25%vs30). I know they're maybe the beginner armors, but when you start you dont have so many options, plus as I saw recently, Metal armor requires 4 hq metal parts which makes it the only lvl 2 item requiring 100% hq materials reserved for high-tier.
Thus there is no mid-level armor in the game if you look at crafting requirements.... OK. Either MA or Leather armor needs some boost. Why? well, guess what, even if you try to be peaceful player you get owned by rogues or marauders from time to time (they got boost why cant the armors have a boost too?). So the only solution now NOT to get heavily owned you need to risk your life and go i.e. to redding... to get owned... because of pks (who wouldnt like a pair of extra hq?)
Encounters got nerfed, armors should too, ok, I dont mean all, but for MA or Leather Armor mk 2. Why?
Ma has 4/30% and LAmk2 3/25 which is less than Combat Leather Jacket (2/30%) which is crucial for those god damn crits and dangerous humanoids for like 10lvls at least.
My idea is to either boost the LA mk2 to 3/30 or (Id rather see this) make Metal Armor to be crafted from metal parts and alloys like pre-wipe, and the upgrade to MA mk2 to be 2hq good metal parts.
The thing is, Those armors, especially in the beginning dont give any protection against overpowered humanoids (rogues, marauders) now and there are no armors in the shops, NONE, why? Because they're hard to craft, even mid tier MA is high tier now, so only crap 2 armors to wear... Making MA easier to craft would fill the shops with armors, because wealthier newbie players wouldnt use those crap armors later, really, MA needs a change...
