I tried it a minute ago. It works. Just to clarify - in fact, there shouldn't be any "[" and "]" characters. It just says that word inside is parameter of ~deleteself command.

Hello, excuse me, my english is very bad. I have a similar problem. I can't use ~deleteself [password]. And, when I start to play the first time, I create 2 or 3 characters and I forget the passwords. I'm stupid, sorry, but when I created them, I thought that they had not done it.

Sorry for necro-posting, but it doesn't work again...

Press enter to go into chat window, hold shift and press ` (usually key below esc) then type deleteself  followed by a space then your password

I know how that command works... after entering "deleteself [password]" it says, that character will be deleted after I log off, but it doesn't.

you have to wait a few mins before its deleted, exit the whole thing (including the launcer) wait for 10 mins then try to login with same character, if you cannot then he  is deleted.
