yeah, but its not hard to make a reinforced clip, i mean i would just use a little catch like on a toolbox, just with a stronger spring.

this is why i say it would have to be a "fallout" version, as the WW2 stens were made to be cheap, that means using as little metal as you can to make a working gun, and they stopped making this as far as i know after WW2 for its crappy quality rather quickly.

and, even a 9mm round kicks to a point, so you very well could bend a poorly made clip out of a gun, and also, about the mauser as it stands, we're taiking about a early 20th cent gun here, add in some modern 9mm hand guns and we'll be seeing who'll be seeing just who wins in contest with a 10mm gun, since basicly the 10mm took the place of the 9mm round in fallout 1/2/3 but not fallout tactics.

and..

I agree that the 9mm bullets should have a wider range of applications, as currently people only sell them to the store, as mauser is rarely used by fonline community.

i find that the lack of a use for 9mm ball arounds does lead to this, but i personally think that a mauser C96 works just as good for killing pig rats with as a 10mm pistol, lets face it, nether of them are going to kill much with one shot, if you want a powerful side arm use a .44 of some kind, the mauser is the cheap option.

In my experience the 10mm pistol does about twice as much damage as the mauser, expect to do about 3-7 dmg.
