The game has one of the strongest competitive presence in the gaming scene. Riot tournaments are just awesome, I remember watching them just for sense of sport, because of the high prize pools and the good teams competing. The game has a high level cap, easy to play, but hard to master. That's the milestone of all good games out there. Excellent re-playability, you can practically keep playing it on and on as the game provides so much variety that can keep you entertained for a long time. Very easy to connect and play, comfortable interface, good matchmaking system and basically user friendly game no matter whether your a new or experienced player, it's free and nobody has to pay a dime for such a refined game that is only growing and getting better.

I don't play it currently, I did, but not for a long time, the game just isn't for my taste, yet it is very good and I might play it again.

T-888 first of all it is a distant third in the compeditive seance behind SC2 and DOTA2 just getting ahead of CS it is very easy to get into for ex-DOTA 1 pros and has a very low prize pool compared to DOTA or SC2 (SC2 has alot more tornaments and they are all above the LoL ones and DOTA 2 has 1m prize for first in the International)

LoL had 1M as well in the previous season, which was nearly a year ago. We might expect it to go higher. SC is a well-known, successful franchise backed up by this gigant Blizzard, so it is kinda expected to be ahead.
