why is this project dead? I didin't even know when it started... shit
this project was dead from some time ago, i think before the last to last wipe(the wipe before this wipe, but i played before the last wipe)cuz there where a few roleplayers, but if we do this semi-closed(that means that players can join whit kid skin(why not, Iz))
but we shall live and we shall see

maybe the problem with few players was that most players ( like me ) didin't even realize the project has started. I was checking this thread from time to time and all this time I thought it's being under construction.

can we revive this project?

I alredy quit fonline 2238, but kind of Vault roleplay is a reason why to play again, at lest for limited time. But i dont believe that some roleplay project could be succesfull without any objective.

 So, what about 2 factions in vault, one will try to stay there and repair everything (or vault will colapse and everyone will be killed) and second faction will try to escape from it.. Or another idea, different from vault chat 2238 plugin.

if you wanna look how this project could look like, check out the Space Station 13 game. Even if it's not exactly roleplay.

the goal is to live, some will have there principals, some not
there can be some situations putted by the GMs, so others will become ghouls, Super Mutants, there will be some rat infestetion, and there can be a secret conspiracy to leave the vault,etc etc

Setting up some objectives isn't hard, like kicking out one vaultdweller each week if he did lose some contest etc, but the players shouldn't only relyon GMs help when it comes to roleplaying. That's why I'm a bit concerned that this project will bore the players very soon, but I'm probably wrong and it turns out to be good. ;) I'll see if I can rip out the Overseers Skin FRMS from Fallout 1 and we can include it in FOnline for this matter maybe.
