is it easyer to mod fallout 2 on CD or on download?

If you want to make a mod for Fallout 2, it doesn't matter if you've got the CD or download version. Both are the same game.

You unpack the files with the DatExplorer. But honestly, if you don't even know that, you should read lots of tutorials first.

i used the DatExplorer and it did not work and also i dont know how to used it.

also do have to do DatExplorer with a CD?

You can only open the files if they aren't read-only. This means, you can't open them if they are on the CD.

Unpacking the Fallout 2 tutorial at vault tec lab but it wikia so i dont trust it. you should take a look at see if it a good tutorial.

Go to No Mutants Allowed you find there all you need. I'm curently translating Fallout 1 and 2 in my mother language (romanian). Is very easy to mod after you get the hang of it. But you get borred after some time.
