As an American, and one who has spent most of his life in other countries, I can tell you that if you came to the states you would have many reasons for despising mainstream American culture, and yes most of them are brainwashed. However like the rest of the world America is controlled by a very small percentage and, imho, that little specific greedy demographic the world over is what deserves your despite.

However having a blanket hatred for a whole nation only perpetuates the kind of behavior that allowed those bombings in the first place. Xenophobia, and there is tons of it here, is the real problem. There is only one cure for it and its not more bombing.

I simply dislike the brainwashed, mentaly and quite frequently physicaly retarded, as Floodnik depicted with his facepalm and Facebook comments, people that are just stupid pigs with pathetic grammar and even more pathetic knowledge of history "those damn krauts deserve to be hit by a tsunami for nuking pearl harbor". Given most americans are brainwashed politically, religiously, and in all other facets of human culture, there are a few that actually hate our government for what it has done globally.
