Hi,
We are bringing to you the new FOnline game based on the 2nd season of FOnline: Reloaded source. But don't expect there the same game. It will come with some new features, fixes and adjustments.

We will start without previous closed or open tests.

What I can tell you now:
- new dungeons
- new loot
- reworked trading with NPC's
- new ways for solo players and non-teamspeak teams
- some surprises ;)

We still want add other things but they need to be improved/fixed now. Anyway if we will not manage with it for game's start then we will add it later, with recent updates.

Considering that you don't seem to be changing lot of features of vanilla...
I don't have time for putting more images, movies, promos, proves, etc here. We don't need also the pointless discussions about it like why we didn't change this, didn't add other, removed workbenches from tents and bas... Seriously, I don't have time for it.

Why make your own server instead of working together with already existing one?
We have really long TODO list with our game and we want to make something different in FOnline.

I love how many people do have alot to write about but gave almost no contribution to the fonline community (except their excessive shitposting). It's always easy to complain but hard to provide any kind of support.

Are you sure these blockers won't cause problems while scrolling the screen? I preferred to keep them in straight lines vertically and horizontally, otherwise it might be a pain in the butt to scroll, especially with higher resolutions.

I dunno. Looks like quite a mess to me. It most certainly will be a pain to play in when using higher resolutions. Also what's with the light entity overkill at 2:30?

PS: it's possible to copy&paste tiles from other maps. This way one can easily prevent the obvious tile and wall pattern as seen in the video. Lots of these diagonal wall tiles aren't fitting together either. Take a look at the original maps for comparison.

As a terribly lazy-ass bastard I used to take e_desert1 as a template. Trader Mansion base map is made this way, nobody ever spotted it.

Pretty much all the maps I made are based on e_desert1 or any other encounter location. In worst case you'll copy&paste tile snippets from other locations to break the pattern. It's just a waste of time to manually click together that stuff over and over again-- hell, even the original BIS mapper had a pattern function.

That was cool and I don't know why still fonline's mapper doesn't include this helpful feature. Tiles, roofs and walls pattern functions, well actually walls are include but it's test function I guess.

The website is most basic bootstrap with jQuerry; HTML and PHP. Forum on the other hand has a function of choosing your own theme. There's 4 to choose from so yeah you've inspected it quite well and the one that's set as default is http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=2665.

Hey!
I regret to inform you that the final release of Aftertimes will be delayed for few months. Unfortunately, the range of planned works is quite large. A lot has been already done (approximately 1-2 updates per day, not including fixes) but there're still many things to do (at least twice as much).
Today I am not able to specify when the main development will end and when the first official tests begin or the game start.

However, if you would like to speed up the progress of works, recruitment for the positions of the dialog writer, story writer, mapper, coder (or helper for filling some things), wiki editor, promoter in main page, forum, Discord, YouTube and Facebook areas are still open. The only requirements are at least the minimum knowledge in development and willingness to work in accordance with the designated trend of this FOnline game.

We're trying to do something more, than a typical PvP with the addition of PvE.

Added new features:

- Traders event.
From time to time some trader has really good stuff to sell what will be announced in the game.
- New Base Control system.
Now you can control few bases (Waterworks, Hawthorne Military Base, Area 51, Nuka Cola Factory in Salt Lake, Mariposa Military Base). These can be retaken by mobs which are living inside. Rewards are spawned one or two times per day. Expect minimum T3 stuff there, up to T4 stuff, implants or T4 blueprints. Mobs will not attack current controller.
Current controller can't looting dungeons lockers or killing mobs living inside.
- Sierra Army Depot has own event.
Just load howitzer by shell, and... FIRE!
- New AI for dungeon mobs.
Forget about the same strategy for dungeons what can be repeated over and over again. Every mob's patroling area and... LOOKING FOR YOU!
- Guarded towns can be raided by bandits, army, outcasts, pets, mutants, and other... things...
Just protect the town and get your reward!
- Factions.
You can register own faction name.
- New locations, and refreshed old ones.
- New dungeons and scenarios for them.
- New crafting system where craft of T4 items is available.


And here we want to introduce you the large part of Fallout of Nevada game's world.

Your character's build.
When you're registering your character you can set up to 10 points for stat. But during the game it can be higher, by drugs, implant, additional perk, bonus from armor, etc.

Additionally:
- Fast Shot single-shot attacks now target a random limb
- RBTE, BRoF, MRD, Bonus HTH Attacks perks now require 175 ranged skill
- Tree Trunk Tighs disabled, merged with Iron Grip (Iron Limbs) + some description fixes
- Skill points no longer cap on 99
- Added kill counter for players in character sheet (Wastelanders)
- Bloody death animation if the player dies by burst and their HP reaches below -100
- Healing Rate is no longer a percentage, but the actual HP healed (every 30 seconds)
- Base value of Healing Rate is EN/2, cannot be lower than 3
- Gets an additional bonus of MAX_HP/50
- Fast Metabolism gives a +10 bonus to Healing Rate, halves timeout

Client side:
- Our client is on new (but old) revision (412) with some patches and improvements. It allows us to fix few things from the previous game's season.

New client's features:
- Added bullet tracers effect for all weapons
- Added 2 new config entries (the second one will be used later)

- No reason for using SandBoxie tool any more.

And of course - Mapper.

Mapper is an integral part of client and will be also updated by updater or launcher with client.

Unfortunately our wiki stays out of date. We will update it soon as it's only possible.

This changelog is very general and details will be described later. Did I miss something? I think yes. During creating this changelog other devs are still pushing the last server updates for the game's run.

Hello i just wanted let you know that season 2 still on and updating often, we mostly type our changes on our discord but if you dont have time to check it here is list of most important:
-many bugs fixes and balance changes of course
-Enclave Oil Rig is exclusive dungeon with unique mechanics
-Vault13 can be open by v13 cards, inside waiting for you dungeon
-added new mini dungeon to reno sewers
-reroll function spawn grave, and drop implants

Also every week there is few GM events, so what are you waiting for?
