Aye it's built off the same engine used for C&C: Renegade. The project started in 2003 and has since gone on strong but anywho its a decent enough game anyways so give it a whirl if you enjoyed renegade, although personally I prefered Renegade X (http://www.moddb.com/mods/renegade-x/news/renegade-x-055-beta-release-for-ut3) which will be standalone once its been redone with the UDK.
