Title: NPC faction protection for liked and above on the WM

Same as above. If youre a friend of a NPC faction (rep 900+ AFAIK?) the NPC faction will fight anyone who attacks you on the WM if he/she is liked (300-900) or lower rep. If they shoot you they could also protect you  8)

what do you think?

I've thought about this too. It could be okay. However if they player who is protected starts the fight, he shouldn't be protected. Or if he has provoked some faction and befriended another, the befriended faction shouldn't protect him if he ends up in an encounter where both are.

Example: hub and junktown are neutral or even friends of each other. If a player has made junktown mad and befriended hub and ends up in an encounter where hub patrol and junktown scouts are, the hub patrol shouldn't protect him.

Yes, as you said avv, only defense and only to the attack or his party.

 I just dont know what would happen if idolized person would shoot the liked one. Should idolized NPC faction leave the higher ranked? I think so.
