I am an energy expert [3] most of the weapons I use require micro fusion cells. the thing is the only machine to craft MFC is in Mariposa. i can carry maximum 67 kilos and one refined uranium ore weights 3803 grams. and you need 6 of those to craft 100 MFCs. That means I can carry only to craft 200 cells. anytime i hit the road for mariposa (starting from broken hills), i spend at least 30 MFCs on the way, sometimes even more, depending on the path that i use. and this number generally doubles with what i spend on the way back home. so i have to start the same journey again.
briefly: i am tired of crossing the entire map to craft some ammo. all the other ammo types can be crafted in every town, even in player bases, but i am always short of ammo. and this is not fair. there needs to be more machines to craft this cells. maybe not in every town, okay! but only one machine to craft ammo in entire wastes? you gotto be kidding me.

get a car-> make a new tent near mariposa-> transport your crafting stuff to new tent in car trunk-> u can craft without crossing the entire map. U're welcome.

thanx for the suggestions, but even if i move my tent to mariposa i still have to cross the entire map because i can get rafined uranium ores only in broken hills, so moving my tent wont make a big difference. i will still have to go between mariposa and broken hills whenever i need ammo.
wouldn't it be a pain if high quality minerals coud only be mined in Gecko, and advanced gunpowder could only be crafted in Klamath? or all small gun ammos could only be crafted in Junkrown or something? then we all would move our tents and the problem would be solved, ha? small evergy cells can be crafted on workbench, why not the micro fusion cells?
all i want from the devs is to put a few more machines in the game. is that so much? finding refined uranium ores only ın broken hills ia already a pain, crafting them only in mariposa which is quite far from broken hills is another... as i said earlier, all other ammo types can be crafted even in player bases, why do we have to cross the map just to make some ammo?

I understand Mariposa, but as you suggested, its fairly a good tradeoff with an average carry weight.
So uranium ore quantity or its weight could be reduced a bit

even that would be better. even if i take off all my weapons, ammo and armor, i can carry maximum 17 ores. still 1 ore missing to craft 300 cells. and considering the encounters and pks, (even if i avoid all encounters and pks are on vacaton for some reason) the dogs ourside the base, it is suicide to go there unarmed and unarmored.

You have to make yourself another tent using new alt. Yes, because ability of having just one tent on one char doesn't help with reducing alts.

/me fully support crafting MFC in Gecko reactor... and maybe Lost hill Bunker and Navarro.

I agree with Navarro and possibly Lost Hills with high enough rank in the faction. But these shouldn't be accessible until there's sufficient quests to allow players to move up the ranks.

In Navarro is good suggestion.
-
in Gecho is a good place too
and is worse than unguarded, is in the TC sistem,PKs allways there
-
Its unfair when you compare 7.62mm and MFC. You can craft a lot more and in a safer place! loulz
-
Bah. Farm remnants. If lucky you will get 120-150 MFC's per encounter. Making MFC is pretty pointless at the moment.

Dont travel by car, make a tent nearby.
Anyway ,Id move The Machine somewhere else and make Mariposa ( and SAD ) a PVE/PVP place similar to Glow now. Lots of robots and competition in order to gain some interesting stuff at the end.

Gecko is a good alternative, but there should be an access fee imposed by the Ghouls as well as quests to enable the access in the first place. Fee would be 100 caps per crafting. Enabler quest would be 1000 caps, 6 HQ Ore, 6 Refined Uraniums, and 1000+ Reputation in town. (If Rep goes to more than -200, have to repeat enabler quest.)
With higher faction ranks maybe add Navarro and Lost Hills to the list.
Vault City, V13, V15, BH all have reactors, but they are weak and there is not converter machine, so no.
Also, the "it's not fair" argument has Gamism validity but is preposterous from a simulationist POV.
Making MFC in a post-apocalyptic wasteland? I suppose it would be possible, but actually getting to would be a long shot.
EW should be rare and special, but we have to compromise for playability.
PS: I'm not saying Fonline should be simulationist- Fallout is supposed to be definitely gamey and sorta goofy.

The whole crafting locations thing is going to be reworked just as soon as Domination Mode and Faction Scenarios are ready. At that point MFC will be available to craft in a similar way to all the other high tier ammo.

If you mean AP rockets, 5mm AP and .223 : Hooray!
