Can anyone explain to me one thing.
I was just running with my day pass in VC to sell my armors for 12000 caps.
After transactions I wanted to quit the city. Well, I couldn't. Right after I crossed doors to courtyard I was shot by guards and I lost everything.

I'm a BOS faction member and have rep in VC at about 250. It was 15pm so day pass wasn't the problem. Anyone know why this happened? And why when I had 12000caps?!

thats strange....maybe becouse u blocked the path... other than that i don know

Unless you stood in the door for awhile they won't blow you away.  However someone posted in the bugs section that they had encountered a similar issue.  Since that shouldn't have happened under normal circumstances you should take it up with a GM or a Dev.  And pray.

Are you absolutely sure nobody had stolen your day pass while inside the city?

Once someone stole my day pass on my crafter char when i was inside innercity at afk, maybe same to you?

nope, after guards killed me they took everything from me, except day pass.

you are not alone with this shit, i know this bug for a long time and im sure devs know this shit too for a long time, i do not remember times when vc guards worked fine and i play since beta start

One of the many reasons I don't even step foot near VC, Gecko, or its mine much anymore.  8)

same thing happened to me just this moment.
I was in Junktown in trade with shopkeeper and for no reason they all just started shooting at me...

what can be done to prevent this?

put away any weapons or drugs from your active hand

yes, some mining tools are considered weapons ;P

A hammer is considered a weapon, at least within NCR as I got warned for having 1 in my active slot.
