This time i suggest something different to crafting.
50% or less Repair
- You gain original crafting XP from any items.
100% Repair
- You gain 15% more crafting XP from any items.
150% Repair
- You gain 30% more crafting XP from any items.
200% or more Repair
- You gain 45% more crafting XP from any items.

the chances of having things break is too much in the end, there'll be a lot of pissed off people because this of course forces people to alt...
-
Another reason to grief? If it was just for the XP, ok, but making crafting even more fail is just not right :P

reminds me of an old WC3 RPG map. "imma go chopp wood."
you failed to chopp.
you failed to chopp.
you failed to chopp.
you failed to chopp.
you failed to chopp.
you failed to chopp.
you chopped 1 pine wood.
you failed to chopp.
you failed to chopp.
you failed to chopp.
you don't have enough energy to do this!

your suggestion is simple and quite good. but we have bad conclusions too.
I for example have 3 crafter chars. EW,SG,BG.
They level fast enough for me because they have 10 INT and Skilled Trait. so after hiting lvl 2 they can get prof1, after lvl 3 prof2 etc etc.
so on lvl 4 they got everything they are used for.
Now- *dodges some screaming finn "I HATE ALTS"* I guess many other people do it the same. Yes i know there are guys out there who do hybrids and i support that. So basically this suggestion is boosting crafting-alts, which is not good, but boosting crafter/fighter hybrids, which is good.
this topic is a big double edged sword i think. I would say we just say we don't see any reason to boost crafting.

I just hate those useless 8 XP from crafting..

I feel you bro. But its mostly to prevent someone to gain a level from crafting 40 sharped sticks.
In my Fonline beginning i always seen level as a minor thing, i just liked how many things get me xp even its just >40xp. So i could just play and i was rewarded for doin usefull things, while levels came from alone. I think some of us (including me) should get back to that attitude. Nowadays its all about getting to 21 quick quick quick or having a powerbuilt char that can cause as much havok as possible.

This is me.
Only one character.... 4-5 weeks later... only level 18 -.-.
It definitely feels good when you suddenly level up out of no where :D.
