Title: Special Map - Chapter 2

 Hello again, this is Dog again! I suggested in the past to add some maps of F2 to the game. Specially those from the begginning of F2, like the village of the elders (the tribe of the original Vault Dweller) and specially that with a bridge. When i proposed this the first time, someone answered me that it were not possible because it could provoke a disruption. Something like "if people go there and kill all the villlagers, F2 events will not happen" (something like that)

Ok, guys, why if you INVENT another tribe, but you use the SAME map? it should give colour to Fonline 2238 and nobody will provoke a paradox that destroy the balance betwenn time and space. Thanks.

I see no reason to do this. Just to reuse an old map?

There could be more quests (bring sharped speers for the hunters of the tribe for example. good beginner quests), profession givers (armorer 1), brahmin traders, normal traders.
Basicly more content.

I see enough reasons to do this.

If you make a new location, you make a new map, it's that simple. I see no sense in taking a carbon copy of Arroyo and calling it Brroyo, and say "it's a different tribe, which has nothing to do with the other!".

While i will refrain from getting into discussion about any location existing in the current version of 2238 and wasnt taken from the original F2 during the course of updates as im not participating in this beta from its very beginning, i say : go as lexx "suggested", make ideas for a new tribe-like location, maybe get a mapper (wichura is mapping like a devil these days, see : http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=8582.30 (http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=8582.30)) and form a nice suggestion with example ready-to-use files.

Give me unemployment or a longer vacation I would even do it myself. Maybe next holidays (christmas).

We said pretty often already, that we will not add any new town / village locations yet. There are already too much empty ones.

Truth lies on both sides. Nevertheless, the bridge map could serve as PvP map for capturing the base :P (bases on bridge ends) maybe some barrels would do fine too

If you go over the Van Buren resources found the vault wiki, you can find some "recyclable" old quests. There is a "Blackfoot Tribe" I am currently writing a quest for, I just don't know where to put them...

Their story is: Their a bunch of old Arroyo (Unmentioned but hinted at) tribesmen who left due to starvation and decease and they are simply looking for a new place to found a village. The player can do a few mindless tasks/ use their doc skills on them for a few xp and items and what not. But if we could find a place to put them we could "recycle" a tribal map from F2 and maybe use it as a new small location in game with a few quests.

I suggest making a map with the new mapper and enter the map making contest. If you win we could work together for sure. But don't get your hopes up, all writers should focus on populating the old maps before adding new ones.
