Title: Basic merc improvements.

Hey all

I had a few simple but very usseful and time saving suggestions,

1. reload Dr. Freeman!
Give your mercs a command in the alt menu or option in their dialogue that makes them reload their weapons.

2. Run like hell!
Give your mercs a command in the alt menu to make them run away in combat, or an option in their dialogue that makes them automaticly run away at certain amounts of health %. You could set it at 100% for a brahmin so it will always run away.

3. Hold your ground!
an alt command or dialogue command that forces the merc to stay on the same hex at all times, when he somehow changes location (rocket) he will return to his hex.
This will be great for gaurds, and also usseful in combat where you dont want your mercs to run into their deaths.

4. Gaurd this container!
A dialogue command for your merc to gaurd a specific object, first you talk to your merc, then click on the container. When anyone but you tries to open the locker the merc will attack this person, the merc will however will first warn the said person if he ventures to close to the object that hes going to die a horrible death if he opens it.

5. but it's just a fleshwound!
A dialogue option or an alt menu command for your mercs to heal themselves, they will first attempt to use first aid, then use stimpacks. They won't heal amounts that aren't worth healing (eg a superstim for 20 hp damage)

6. I could use some medical attention!
A dialogue option or a command in the alt menu which makes your mercs heal you by all means, starting with first aid, then going on to superstims. Again they will try not to waste stimpacks. When weakened they will first try to use doctor on you. When issued twice they heal you to full at all costs (waste stimpacks)

7. What are you standing there maggot? Pick that up/Loot that!
Simple alt menu command that makes your mercs loot a corpse or pick up a certain item, this saves time wasting when you have to manually give your mercs (or brahmin) items that you picked up yourself.

Please comment on these little suggestions, what could be done to improve them? do you have an idea of your own?

Sounds very reasonable.

How about a "blacklist" for people which you want dead? "Attack that [say] person."

I've made like half of these suggestions and as you can tell they've been "put on hold"  :(.

But a very good list mate, all very needed.

(I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT, THE SNIPERS ARE GONNA GET THEIR Quick headshot shortcut SOON AND BGS ARE STILL  UBER WHY CANT MERC LEADERS GET A SHORTCUT BOOST?!?!?)

I've made like half of these suggestions and as you can tell they've been denied  :(.

But a very good list mate, all very needed.

Yes I've made one myself like this before, but this one is more expanded. Some other people might have suggested it aswell.
Anyway some of the suggestions might be hard to implent (gaurd object) but others (reloading) would be easy and are really handy. So I hope there might be room for some of these in the next wipe.

No, people liked them, devs just didn't comment. They haven't been denied.

This is my moment. Everyone here always repeats the phrase "you dont have X SPECIAL so you need to suffer more" and in this moment when such thread comes doesnt say about making things better for charisma points spent in SPECIAL. This should be done asap +1
