Title: About "Repair"(#3)
Post by: duorden on January 13, 2010, 01:51:25 am
Good Evening

As though you have concerned to introduction of possibility of repair by means of a similar subject (for repair without tools or superrkit)

For example at us two pistols:
The first has 85 % of breakage (15 % of quality)
The second has 74 % of breakage (26 % of quality)

Using skill of repair we as a result we receive one pistol of 59 % of breakage

For complication of the given process it is possible to enter penalties:

Skill less than 100 % - the penalty of 50 %
Skill less than 200 % - the penalty of 25 %
Skill more than 200 % - the penalty of 0 %

Thanks

At present developers should consider any variants of change of a gameplay (even the most silly) because gameability leaves much to be desired

In a real world it'd be normal thing

When you have two broken identical devices, you would certainly use one as a source of spare parts - so i support the idea

In this way you would end up with one working item (if succesfully repaired with parts from the other) and another one broken/out of order or at least some spare parts (as if science skill were administered to disassemble item)

It is possible to assume that at identical things different details are damaged. It will make game more balanced in the plan and will allow to get rid of a considerable quantity of unnecessary things, it is better to have one useful than ten useless

Well I think that this idea is nice but... In my opinion it shouldn't use repair skill at all ;)

Just a feature that allows characters without imba high repair skill be able to repair their stuff ;)

It should use repair skill IMO

No one can disassemble complex devices and then assembe it with no knowledge how to do so...
