Greetings!
I had a question regarding the Heave Ho! perk, to which I have not yet found a satisfying answer.
This perk adds +2 to str. for determining range with throwing. Now here's my question:
Does it affect the requirements on a throwing weapon? i.e. would I be able to throw a plasma grenade (str. 4 req.) with 2 str. in my character sheet?
I'm guessing the answer is 'no', but asking anyway..
First post here by the way, hope it's the right place.. Played fallout a LOT when I was young, and was happy to find this game. Hope it works out the way I expect it :-P

pretty sure thats just for throw range. You could get weapon handling though and if you're a sneak thrower you wont need much range anyway

Notice that it's only for throwing range, and that your throwing range will not go over the weapons maximum throwing range.
For every STR you get 3 hex of throwing range. If some throwing weapon has 15 hex range- it means that you need 5 str(or 3+ heave ho!) to reach the maximum range of throwing. However even if you have 10 STR + Heave ho! - your maximum throwing range of this weapon will be still capped at 15.
Oh btw. there's no such thing as Str requirement(like in Fallout). Even if you don't have enough strenght to 'use' the certain weapon, it will just decrease your skill level by 20% for every str point you are missing.

It was already working like that in Fallout 2.

oh. My bad.
But like you had a message "you don't have enough strong" each time you equip the weapon, your mistake is understable ;p

Thanks a lot for this response :)
Good to know you can still equip things if you lack the str. 'needed'.
