I used maybe bit too much SG/Crafter, but also few times(and now too) i use Energy-Weapons user.
What build you use?

SG double jet sniper with 246 HP.

I've mostly used my sneak, fast shotter and a 14mm pistol. Good fun ambushing PKs :)
The poll is a little odd though, why is it SG/Crafter in one option?

Yep, I've got the same. 16AP, Living Anatomy + 2AP shots is a good combo.

One hander fastshot smallguns burster - sg crafter. With 100 throwing. Fun for everything until everything gets boring.

Sg/Doctor with 10 CHA, 149 hp
BG/grenadier with magical awsm number of hp
got bored with both
now playing with 2 END Jinxed throwing knives fighter (and grenades ofc). its boring 2 but not as much as previous 2. Itsa a real hard-time leveling this bastard up.

Critical unarmed with x2 pathfinder and high outdoorsman.
Chasing players at towns shouting crazy phrases.
Really happy, when yellow circle appears near NCR, not happy if there're TDS, because they don't know how to talk, they simply click on bluesuiters and kill them to farm scorpion tails and shovels, and never say anything.
Aim: get Most Death Award.
Dying everyday many times (died like 40 times in the last caravan circle near NCR), still can't get that damned award.

Settlers (http://a.imageshack.us/img830/734/wichboks3.jpg) - high outdoorsman, 2x pathfinder, high repair, carry weight 100+, a bit of barter. Combat skill on board, but used not very often.
Right now I'm training that type of char to check how it's gonna work after Apocalypse. One alt less from what I have now, this is a good thing.

Small gun burster, using a variety of small arms to combat the bourgeois.
A non-druggie, with high hp and dmg potential. Used to frequent areas that the pks think there are easy pickings. Cheap, affordable weapons of any number and their ammos.

SG/Crafter... decent skill in Small guns, level 3 SG crafting, decent skill in Outdoorsman, great repairman...

Ive tried all builds, used EW sniper the most, but i find BG rocketeer the most fun. If there would be a wipe, i would begin my play with BG rocketeer/leader :)

SG3 with Fast Shot + 10 AP + 2 Merc's or 3 slaves + 90 BG/ Outdoors -> Good all around build for the world of Fallout Online. Could be better tho but very universal.

How did you manage to have 10 AP and 5 CH? and BG meaning strenght? ALL drugs? no luck?

First i played sg char. Then i played energy char. At the end, I playing melee char now.

heres my char sheet. Could be better but it works out pretty well, it just isnt a power build. I dont do drugs yet because I cant afford it lol

Why the science ?
Is he gonna craft the weapons ? Cos you can just take 2 mentats instead, and leave intelligence at 6. Or take a dive with 1 charisma. Other than that it's fine.

I could give you a lot better build advice if you specified what you intended to do with it exactly. However, two weak points I noticed are your low luck of 6 and low HP. Remember that each point of luck gives you about 4% more critical chance for eye shots (less for other parts), which is almost a whole more criticals perk.
One tweak you could do that's a general improvement is to lose the small frame, drop down to 3 STR, get 8 luck and get weapon handling instead of a more criticals. You could really use 10 luck, though.
Or you could just drop your STR to 4 and get two more PE instead. The result would be only 8% less hit chance for the laser rifle and plasma rifle but 16% more hit chance for the pistols, in addition to having more sight range and the other benefits of PE.
Those are some really conservative tweaks. What all do you plan to do with your build?

it's 6%...
it's 4% per unit of luck for the head, 2% for all the other limbs... 0% for the torso

I used the latest luck formula and found that one point of luck is actually equal to 3.4% more critical chance for eye shots (which is different than what the character planner says). I don't know where you got your figures, Gordulan, but one point of luck definitely gives 1% more hit chance on the torso and unaimed shots.
Anyways, my favorite build is a sneaky BGer who uses Jet, Buffout, and mentats or psycho. Popping out of sneak with three avenger bursts before running out of AP is almost unfair. I've brought down entire PKing teams without taking damage 8)

hmm, I only accounted for the original bonus chance, therefore I guess that it's the values I posted +1%... dammit, I always leave something out when thinking of other things...

I have a Small Guns character, but I've only been using an Unarmed character all summer long 8)

Heh, I'm a sniper myself and recently made a loner char - a small guns and thief. I also have a SG crafter. Summary? I'm all for SG!!!
