Well, My Idea is Simple... You can go to this place Called the "Hubology Centre" ( Followed by the FOnline 2238 Story, As you Being Replicated by Hubologists )
Theres a Terminal there where youre able to select a Permanent Respawn Point
It Will cost Like 5,000 Caps 10,000 Caps
"North (Modoc)"
"Middle (Reno)"
"South(NCR)"
You Can Change youre spawn Once a Week, And If you dont change it, You will continually randomly spawning wherever hell Karma decides to place you..
I think this is Good because it Gives an Option for Spawning, Whilst it isnt Free.. Poll.

So rich people respawn where they want, poor people respawn anywhere ? I wouldn't call that a real solution... ;p
-
Only rich players get something plus, but what we poor players get...?
We must respawn anywhere..?

Mentants power!

Hell why not ? There should be more places where to spend our caps and this might be one them. Just make it more expensive

I dont know, but almost everyone who spending time in NCR and etc said that he have bilions caps in his tents and bases. I really dont think that money(so called rich people) are problem in this case.

Okay, so improve the suggestion.
Make the price dynamic, for example: players level X 200
So if the player is level 5 he pays 5x200=1000 caps.
How does that sound? and yes after a week or a certain amount of spawns you have to pay again.

This is TLA, not 2238. We don't use this Hubo-story.

Oh, is that so?

This would be abused very easily. For example given the right situation you can very easily go to lvl 1 to lvl x in a day. Now whats stopping me from creating a lvl 1 guy paying 200 caps and grind to lvl 21 in a few days or in a day?
You would obviously have to make it so that one would have to pay an amount every level. Also the lvl x times 200 wouldn't work for higher lvl characters. 21X200= 4200. It would have to be an an equation like this (x+(x/.5))*25(x-.5)
Meaning
Level 1 character would pay: 37.5 or 38 caps
Level 21 character would pay: 32287.5 or 32288 caps.
This makes it more sense, i can say a lvl 1 person would easily be able to get 38 caps. This would help new players survive the wasteland so much easier, the better part of this is that you would have to pay almost about 33k caps if you were level 21. This appeal to the pvp players/power builds and less to the crafters and traders as they generally would be able to protect themselves at least. Keep in mind i dont pvp so i cant exactly speak for that.
(I know once you start going to a higher level like 10 it would cost over 7k for replication, this is just me showing off my algrebra 2 skills cuz i haven't used them for 2 months and i felt like doing something mathmatically)

I Agree, This will be abused. So That guy said It should be more than 5k, Maybe 10?

It was just an example, what I meant to say was that a formula could be used, like the one you gave. another possiblity is that every level up counts as 2 respawns. This way it becomes pretty usseles to buy those respawns at level 1 if you are about to go powerleveling.

Money should be spent on benefits that PREVENT you from dying, not something that helps you when you actually do die.
As far as I can see random spawning places are there to punish those who intentionally put themselves in hostile situations all the time.

Awesome, i'd buy an Emergency Reviving Kit anytime if you introduce it.

So what, you would have one cheap "respawn point" and after certain period of time, you will have to buy it again - for full price.
Anyway 32k caps seems too high for me for just one week, I wouldnt go over 20k

From my point of view, it should look like this.
You die a list open:
- Random respawn 60 sec
- Tent respawn 90 sec
- Base respawn 120 sec
or something like this
-
That'd Be Kinda Cool, Except That would be Kinda.. Too Easy for people?

obviously everyone would choose base/tent since it takes more time traveling from any random location.

so let me think... before town control gangs will build tents near the town and load it with tons of equipment? Oh great... no.
-
I voted no. Simply its a solution for PvP big gangs.
Random respawn should be disabled for everyone not taking part in TC fight DOT
-
Ok so can be 5 min no need to by 90 sec
And it is your tent not a gang tent, so you can get it on one city not all.
-
I really don't think this would work, it just doesn't sound "realistic to fallout." I don't want my char dying and then getting replicated and cloned... We simply need more hotel rooms.

yeah... and its really hard for 21lvl characters to affor 10 brahmins to build tent temporary on some place and then on other... ::)
-
yep but 20 gang mebers is not just 10 brahims hide. Count all north towns.
this is just a suggestion it can by only base or something like this or just respawn points
We simply need more hotel rooms.
And what change the hotel rooms ?

omigod ;D think before posting, its just to easy to farm hides, argument that gangs have many people is so much invalid... they can farm them in hunts (or at bases) or while gangs have often many caps, they can buy huge amounts of hides at vendors (some vendors have often over 100 or even 200 hides)... so its simply not valid argument, that the count of gang members counts (lol)...
