I was thinking of a new crit char and Im thinking to get 10 Luck and jinxed to piss some enemies :D Im not very experienced with jinxed, so if anyone has jinxed or similar build it would appreciate the knowledge :D HOW BAD is it?
-
I got char with 1 luck and jinxed. 1/5 of my hits are critical misses (unarmed), and i never see the enemy's gun exploded. Sometimes they miss next turn and thats all.
-
one of my chars has 10luck+jinxed. It was experimental EW sniper build. its hard feel difference. As far as i know, effects of this trait depends of luck of your enemy and distance between you. it should work fine with unarmed/melee build

distance between you and enemy? How so? when somebody is far from me the jinxed is more effective or the other way round?

The closer the better effect of jinxed.

Jinxed works only when you or your opponent miss, it increases the chance to critical failiure. Given that in pvp most of the time you dont miss, its hard to see much of a diffrence. I dont think that jinxed is in any way affected by luck.
-
Making misses is affected by luck and jinxed bases on misses as you said.
-
How are misses affected by luck? Its affected by skill, distance, AC etc.
-
so in other words it sucks hard for a sniper (mainly PvE). OK I need to remake a char xD

My unarmed char with 10 luck and jinxed had a funny situation - when i was lying on the ground with -hp already, the enemy tried to finish me out but he missed twice in a row and both misses were critical fails. He abandoned shooting me then :D

Your luck doesn't affect your enemy's outcome. It only affects what type of critical miss you can get. If someone has a 95% chance to hit you, then of that 5% chance, there is a 2.5% chance that it will be a critical failure; Jinxed makes it so that every miss has a 50% chance of being a critical miss. The type of critical miss that your enemy gets is dependent on only their luck.
If you have 10 luck, it means that your misses will still have that 50% chance of being critical misses, but the affects of the critical miss are the minimal with 10 Luck. I can't say what the worst critical failure is with 10 Luck, but with 6 Luck, you will never destroy your weapon or receive random crippled limbs, but you can lose a turn, and knock down and hurt yourself. With 10 Luck the affects are even less severe.
Jinxed is not affected by distance. Jinxed only affects the people directly involve in the same combat. If two people are fighting each other, it will not affect a separate group fighting each other on the same map, only the people who have hit the person with jinxed or the people that the person with jinxed has hit.

Well from what I heard your characters luck specifies the chance of getting critically hit.
So far up to lvl 2 I dropped the weapon twice and once lost ammo. As I am not PvP enthusiast Ill skip jinxed.
Thanks for the detailed info Dishonest Abe
