Simple as that. LSW could be craftable for BG 3... it has the same range and AP cost but almost 2 times smaller dmg than avenger minigun... soooooo why not make it craftable?
Avenger minigun: 8-11 (40 rounds)
LSW: 10-20 (10 rounds)

Totally - agree - i hate slaughtering SF caravans for this :s.
It would have 1/3 more resurcess needed than - m60 - and it would be good.

While i understand why Bozar or Pulse rifle or Gauss rifle isnt craftable, i see no point why LSW shouldn't. Its not that powerful and is effective enough to be one of the most used weapons. Everyone anyway is getting loads of them trough SF caravans. 1 roll trough the wasteland and you return back to base with even 5 of them if you know the spots.
So yeah, i vote yes.

Hell I saw a Rogue lsw burst one of my friends for over 100 about 30 hexes away, wha de fok?

It was raw damage... But since I dont use big guns personally, I'll take your word for it.

On topic, yes, implement it, why not? It doesn't give any bad dis-balance, and it is good alternative to hunting down SF caravans, which is the only way to have it. I think every weapon, to some extent, should have crafting and PvE alternative.

i am voting NO, becose it uses less ammo than the Adv Mini(30<120)so that is why is so used
plus:i think the animation for LSW is shorter than the 1 for Adv mini,but i am not sure

Considering that is only Special Encounter weapon, do you really plan to use that in combat? No, therefore it doesn't count.
@ LagMaster: Your arguments against the LSW are quite invalid, because you can already get the LSW. Implementing the LSW as a craft-able weapon wouldn't change combat at all considering many people already use the LSW; it would just give those people an alternative to having to fight SF Caravans.
I'm sure many people would continue to kill SF, unless that encounter itself is changed. The stats/damage of the LSW as an argument not to make it craftable won't make a difference.

Voted YES. I don't see any reason why LSW isn't craftable. Can Devs explain that? ;)

Well I posted the topic because its pretty popular and there are not so much weapons to craft for BG. .223 ammo market would benefit as well :p

Ok, so in SG theres a variety. You can choose either less powerfull (cheaper) guns among guns to craft. Ok M60 is ok... just it uses 7.62mm which is hard to get not giving anything special except for big magazine size. Craftable LSW should be just a formality... seriously, players who can kill SF caravans get easy and powerfull stuff, while others or just people trying out guns wont have it at all.
