i was trying to find 45 ammo from gunshop but the category is soo big that i cant find them in time.
so get rid of those times.
-
they are made so that people wont "talk forever", why? well, because NPCs talk only to 2-3 people at same time
-
Lol suggestion.
Increase your barter wastelander.
-
and we have item categories in barter mode, ever noticed that?

It fails, but now about you "suggestion"
It bad suggestion, because it makes barter skill useless.

Timing restrictions fail, not this suggestion.
Imho timing restriction should get activated only when the barter is busy and more people want to talk to him. So lets say that I'm at barter with another guys. We are only 3 = we can trade with NPC forever. But when more people come and barter is no longer able to talk to them, people who are already trading with him, will get 15 + (barter skill*0.15) seconds to finish their trading, otherwise it will get canceled.
Stupid timing restrictions are gone when the NPC is talking up to 3 people but when the 4th come, those with small barter will be "kicked out of shop" in 20-30 sec in average. Annoying feature is in 90% gone and it also makes sense.

But they can make system that if you have minimal barter skill you can have at least 1 minute.

That does not solve the problem. Timing is everywhere not only with barter NPCs and its the problem here. Its done so people would not block each other but most of the times there is only you at the barter and that means timing restriction is just bugging you while you try to scroll through endless sea of items that you don't need. And when you find something useful, its either high deto or too expensive. And having time limit with every NPC even quest guys is nothing but annoying and serves no good. The only place where it works as it was designed are first 2 traders at NCR. Every other NPC you stumble across is pretty much "queue" free and you are alone there. So this feature should change or completely disappear and trigger only when its really needed.

Ok, so imagine that all traders kind off "dont really like" all does wastelanders, with (like allways) 10 "very rare" scorps tails to trade; looking around in trader stuff, and fucking around in trader shop. You dont have skill to trade, your not worthy to trade with real shopers and wasting their precious time. In Fallout Barter is a Skill. That means alot.
-
barter as a skill is originally intended on how good you are at haggling with others, pressing their price down and pushing your prices up.
-
But that was a single player game, where crowd just love you, and stuff for O Great Chosen One was just left (by gamemakers) in bookshelfs and containers. Now you guys, so and i ( i load in barter skill about 70 (edit-more then 90 actually) skillpoints and one perk) are just some normal (fuck now who) guys, who want just buy something. No heroes here.
If you actually want to change something, all rules about barter must be change, not only small adjustments. Thats gonna be unfair to others.

Lets just say, that when you gonna cry very loud (again, just so many things to crying about left...), they make all of you some nice adjustment in next update. And ya, sorry for may bad and fonetic english. I just like one guy from Megamod, and still love to talk like him. Like dun care.

YOU RIGID SYNTAX DUDES GOT SERVED.
BTW: Maybe the point is that the barter system is not fair enough yet. There is a skill for that, yet its use should be analyzed again.
I would certainly like easier to handle categories (particularly those who stack, like guns) and some more time would not hurt anyone. Maybe we can break the game's canon NPC distribution and make stores filled with more shopkeeper NPCs, that or allowing the current shopkeepers to start dialog with more people. I put my dice on my first suggestion, cuz the market oughta get personnel in order to satisfy an increasing number of customers!

Yea, but the true is, we always just bring some crap, broken and useless :) I still dont now how all does shopkeepers tolerate us an give us oportunity to barter with them :) I m not agaist som changes. Guys, who want just better shoot, shoot and shoot some more, probably want sell, sell and sell too. Thats fair enough i think :) Its not like in SPECIAL you get something but have lost something too every time. Its very friendly character making system in some very nice postapocaliptic world :P
I m just joking too.
50 sec for a beginning i guess, sounds fair. We stil got better prices and that is most important.
