Title: New FOnline: 2238 installer released

No more complicated procedures, no more installation of additional software in order to keep everything in one place and updated - the FOnline: 2238 Client Setup is here at last.

The setup comes with the Launcher application included, which provides viewing changelogs, one-click update to the latest version of the client as well as simple configuring of your game preferences. The setup is extremely easy to use, intuitive and user-friendly, thus we hope our users will find it very useful, especially our new players.

Currently, you can download the installer from ModDB (preferred) or our server:

Really nice. If we are already set up though is there any advantage to installing again with the installer? If so will it just install overtop the old install?

No, there are no advantages after reinstalling, its just to simplify the process of playing on 2238. Great idea, i like it very much.

I am using it, I like that the blog is built into it. You know what would make it even better? If you could have that server status image somewhere in there, either as part of the Blog banner or maybe just a standard fallout LED light somewhere on the interface showing green when server is up and red when it is down - and make it clickable to refresh it or put a one of those retro fallout toggle switches next to it.

It was planned to add a serverchecker. But unfortunately it couldn't be done so fast. It's still on my want-to-have list.
