I hate to play in 1024x768 resolution with same like Fallout 2 without patch.
And then i think that someone can maybe do it for FOnline 2238?
-
U can play upto 1280x1024, or 1280x800 etc.. max is 1280 by 1024. Juz go to launcher and type in the resolution and save than play.
-
start the "FOConfig.exe" in the fonline folder.

Your graphic card can't handle it I guess?

My normal screen resolution is 1366x768 :P
Edit: BTW what means Texture Size and VSync?

If your monitor can support 1280768 wide screen mode, than u can try this. To check juz go to control panel and display than select this resolution. If u are able to do so than the game will run. Btw, are u running in vista? If u are I suggest u run the game as admin mode.

texture size is 256 by me. also its the RAM of my graphic card.
the wikipedia in german says VSync is an option when you have problems maybe.
in english isnt the same but here a link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_synchronization (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_synchronization)
on german wikipedia it says when your screen is black you should try to enable VSync

I have 512Mb in my graphic card so i put 512 in Texture Size?
Btw maybe "Video" tap in FOConfig.exe can hold program that take screen resolution in you computer settings and put in it to default resolution in game.
But maybe it's too hard to make so let's forget it :P

I have to play in 800x600 it sucks

yes :-\ claustrophobia...
-
Bigger resolutions to game or better looking 800x600 and others.
I know that someone can do it.
-
Just play in window mode. Everything bigger than 1024x768px looks ugly anyway. Also most of our maps aren't created for a higher resolution.
-
Ahem...
You can play in basically any resolution that your monitor supports. Just edit Fonline.cfg and change:
[Game Options]
ScreenWidth=800
ScreenHeight=600
FullScreen=0
Change these to whatever you want to play in. However, there is a caveat: If your computer uses a strange native resolution, like 1366x768, you may find that the interface doesn't work correctly. This is because the game doesn't have files for this kind of resolution. The Width determines the interface used, and the height doesn't matter one bit. I've used this "hack" to successfully play in 1280x960 mode.

This does not allow resolutions less than 800x600 and greater than 1280x1024. Damn, I thought you were onto something.

I talked to Cvet, I highly doubt you will ever use a resolution greater than 1280x1024

yes highest resolution depends on highest possible field of view.
i guess 1280x1024 is enough for every char.
-
And for weird resolution like me? (1440*900) So bad...
-
I switched it to 1024x600 (My netbook monitor's max res) and the game runs fine with no interface problems.
