Lets pile up here all we know about caves in California.
AFAIK u can meet
- Cannibals (knives, spears, REAPERS)
- Raiders (rifles, knives, reapers)
- Deathclaws (they have a bad habbit of criting u and killeng in 1 or 2 rounds)
- Rats
- Scorpions
- Condoms!
Still we can answer a lot of questions about caves. This information will be useful for new players
- Were are the best caves?
- Any cooldowns or smthng?
- How to fight Deathclaws?
- What to do with REAPERS-armed forces?
- And moar!

adn can you meet in cave Mercenary - haves caws, sniper, but this cave is rare

It's possible to meet dead travelers in caves wearing all kinds of items. From flamers to plasma rifle (got rifle prewipe though) Its quite rare though. I think it's pretty much a special encounter.

Caves are random is all mountain tiles. You would have the same chance of finding something in one cave as the other. Also, they are called Rippers, not Reapers.
Use can also find 3D centipedes
Fight deathclaws with a burst weapon at 1-range.

You can find robes in caves, but these are very rare.

Raiders sometimes have Mercenary weapons such as sniper rifles too.
I found 45 2mm EC on a dead traveller once :P.

I found a CA in a cave near New Reno, but that's my only time that i found something usefull in a cave and belive me, since then i've been trough a lot of caves.
