Title: player placment in PVP
Post by: Ulterior on June 28, 2010, 05:00:40 pm
Ok, I am really tired of always receiving the short stick on PvP combats. The game ?intentionally? puts a player in a close proximity to another player.

I NEVER had a chance to shoot first and I am already lvl 17. Dont say its balanced my friends.

Raise PE in next char - it determines your sequence.

I think placement only occurs when the encounter first starts, otherwise you pop up in the middle

if it is a tent follower, as an expmple, you will spawn right next to him, no matter what, and of course, he will normally be the first to open fire with his SMG/huntig rifle, and with bursters you will probably die right after he empties his second burst into you and against a sniper you will probably be knocked out... and stay the fuck down for the rest of your current life...
it is intentional since the party system is designed for cooperation, not for faceoffs

thats a big "+"

Is there a chance to know how theese things work?  From what i heard bots are undetectble, as all the aming goes on client-side.

Sorry but i think that there is no way. You cant prove if someone is faster than others. So its big "-"

Know what's worse?  When somebody enters your encounter right when you finish your turn, then he kills your ass.

So far only people of different nations ever pk me if they drop in encounter....

Im being dead serious....  LITERALLY! :P

Only hard to tell difference between two is polish and english (English as in America britain me)

Cus Polish have English names its hard to tell unless one of them talks in cyrilic shit half the time.  Although their names are usually oh i don't know...

NASTY NICK anyone? ( Just an example )

I, too have been PK'd by Russians, or at least those with Cyrillic names, far more often than by a character with any kind of name I could read.  Everyone else, polish, czech, spanish... most basically go their own way, but Russians attack every time.

But this is neither here nor there.

The real problem is powerbuilds.  On drugs.  With aimbots.  I've seen plenty examples, like someone shooting me in the head right when I spawn, and not a moment afterwards.  Then apologizing and not attacking.  Seems like someone was using a tool to shoot me as I dropped into the map, then shut it off when they realized I wasn't an enemy.
