I downloaded the client installer and installed it, set the paths for critter.dat and master.dat files. I ran the launcher but it says it can't find "Launcher.exe". I looked for "FOnline" folder it said it installed the client in but it doesn't exist in "Program Files (x86)" or "Program Files"... I am using Windows 7 if it helps. Is there something I am missing?
Thanks

For it to work on Vista or Windows 7, you need to have FOnline installed on your desktop or in a folder on your desktop. So try reinstalling it on your desktop, because it doesn't have to be in the same place as your Fallout 2 folder as long as you connect the critter/master files.
@below: I said this in June, so if what I said didn't work, it is probably outdated.

Using windows 7 I have FO2 installined on C:PF
After downloading & installing FOnline client, nothing happens when I click launch.
Nothing.
All files Critter Master & Sound matched correctly and client is installed on desktop.
Now when I try to Uninstall, nothing happens.
Nothing.
I have used all compatibility modes but still, I get nothing.
Any help?

I have win 7 ultimate and mine is installed to C:/games/FOnline.
Program files can get a bit funny sometimes turn UAC off.

It doesn't work to install it in program files because it requires administrative rights and the game and the tools is not automatically compatible with UAC as it is in Windows Vista/7, you can install it to program files if you run the setup with admin rights and then set all the installed programs to also run with administrative priviledges (FOnline.exe, FOConfig.exe, Launcher.exe and so on).

Maybe you should try put FOnline folder to "Desktop" location.

It doesn't have to be desktop, as long as it's not in program files or any other protected directory (in Vista / 7). C:\Games\FOnline will work for example.
