Make it where in encounter window it gives the amount of each critter for each "faction" or "Group".
e.g. Broken Hills Caravan (5)
e.g. Radscorpions (4)
etc etc etc....
What ya think?

I wouldnt limit it just to awareness, awareness is good enough now. This should be available to all who raised their outdoorsman above certain skill (150% ?) or maybe a PE check ( >7 ? )
-
It should be outdoorsman as tracking skills would let you determine the size of a group before encountering them.
-
I'll modify title to be for outdoorsman and make a poll then ;D.
and make a poll then
If a moderater would be so kind. :)
-
A poll pleeeaase?

Good idea, If surf solar wouldn't warn me, I would just write ''Yes'' ;D
Indeed, awareness is already good, I don't even wanna see such stuff as ''Awareness adds...'' or maybe ''With awareness...''

Well its changed to Outdoorsman % to get it now just don't know how much till you get :/.

120% :P

120% :P
Good enough. Powerbuilds hardly tke 60% so charisma/taxi builds will still have something.

*Brings back a dead but potential thread*
Anyways I still think this is a good suggestion but thats only a spaz master's opinon :P.

I concur with adding this as an outdoorsman-related capability. Though I believe its occurrence should be defined by a check against creature levels, with perhaps additional modifiers depending on creature type.
Deathclaws and Desert Stalkers, I would imagine to be very good at leaving few tracks. They are both predatory creatures, it would follow from simple ability to survive in the Wastes. The tracks of a heavy-ladden caravan, on the other hand, would be hard not to spot. I don't imagine Supermutants to worry about leaving tracks, either, whereas a Slaver party might want to avoid undue notice until they hit their targets...
Course, there could be also a random modifier included so you might not get the precise numbers without specializing in Outdoorsman, but rather an estimation of the number of potential opponents.
Just some food for thought. But it would definitely help to get an idea how many are there in addition to what they are when deciding whether or not to enter an encounter map.
