Sorry to make a request in a board otherwise empty of them, but this is a really big deal for me. I've seen what can be done with the timeout meters and the like, so is it at all possible to make a latency meter so we can see what's happening with the server without resorting to pinging and the like? It could work like FOCD's display ideally, only displaying the amount of time between pings of the system, refreshing once every 5 seconds to prevent network overload.
Does something like this exist? And if not, could anyone make it?

I have already made such a request for FOCD, and offered a ready source at C++.
The author promised to think about.
But my sources I did not find, and somehow still quiet.
Perhaps work is already in full swing.
And maybe still need codes constructed on the WIN-API-functions, not on components

what a bout quickly pressing F1 button?

not satisfied
on gprs connection shows 0 very often
and when the connection is lost and you still see the irrelevant condition, which was 5 minutes ago

Try FOCD again... it has a pinger on it alright...

it not do ping.
FOCD get ping latency from client of game (the same as that of key F1, just copy from RAM)
p.s. you all theorists?
