Title: Question concerning followers in combat
Post by: Roachor on May 30, 2010, 09:22:03 pm
What are the conditions for not losing a merc/slave in rt combat when fleeing? Last wipe I lost a minigunner to rats because I left the map while there was rats biting her, but back then mercs had to be nearby to join your party when leaving town. Now I can leave and a merc halfway across the map is instantly with me at the worldmap. Will this happen for living mercs in combat? Do followers have the same combat timer as players? Can I just run out without worrying that a merc will get shot and be lost forever?

Scenario:  " I have encountered (rats), my mercenary is hit for 1 hitpoints, im already at exit grid, as long as he is still on autofollower, I can leave the map and he will be instantly teleported to my character follower slots."  This excludes knocked out mercenaries though :(.
