AMON TOBIN
-
Honestly since i found out how to paste the fallout 2 track to play it on Fonline i never needed any other music. But before that i liked listenin to somethin up beat or make laugh like tenacious D or rammstein, olp, slipknot, rage against the machine. I could never pick a favorite though :P

That wasnt the longest post ever, but very right. Amon Tobin (especially few tracks) indeed is great. I listen to all FO music + amon tobin + few doom movie soundtracks and its pretty awesome.

This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gVPkaZykK4) is good recovery music when you're beated up and lost some good stuff.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMf3B8R2WEA Billy Idol - Wasteland has good theme aswell.
-
DEATH METAL is good for everything. ;d

The soundtrack for a game called Iji works really well. You can download the game as well as the soundtrack here:

Dark Ambient to keep dark feeling http://www.darkambientradio.de/news.php (http://www.darkambientradio.de/news.php)
Russian FOnline radio - I like it http://radio.fonline.ru/ (http://radio.fonline.ru/)
-
Glenn Miller, Inkspots and some other Jazz / Pre-rock music

For me, its definetely original F1/F2 OST composed by Mark Morgan, pity he left the industry. My fav tracks are Arroyo, Modoc and Vault city 8). Btw, is it possible to listen music within FOnline, or its just me experiencing some problems ?
-
Im kinda suprised im the only one that came up on this but http://radio.fonline.ru/ is pretty much your one stop shop. I dont know what the announcers say but they play really good music fitting perfectly in the world of fallout, and its not all older stuff.. i dont think music would have died in the wasteland, after all the voice was mans first instrument.

I think if you copy content of fallout(2)\data\music to fonline\data\music folder you'll hear music in the game. Haven't tested though.

This is correct.
-
I think it will be good. :)

Although I listen to original fallout music, I recomend this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO7VP34n2Ps - Electric Wizard, Funeralopolis
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TdjognCZfg - Electric Wizard, Outsider
suits the game perfectly imo.

Ive already done this, but as I said, my game is silent, so I was wondering what am I doing wrong.
The path is C:\Games\FOnline\data\sound\music
I chose \sound\music because former music files were there.

ahh, Electric Wizard, really great band, Come My Fanatics and Dopethrone[/] are simply stunning, but they don't fit fallout well, imo :)
