I just went to Vault City and all guard were dead there and a Deathclaw with a player name was running after a bluesuit.
Seriously, WTF? I was tempted to attack the thing but looks like a GM is enjoying something there and i don't want to be stupidly killed for attacking the wrong guy.

Got hit for 150 damage... it hurt
Lost my weapon and my armor the junk I had skavved and the money I was going to deposit..

dude, remove all gear + money before even trying to touch anything that looks a bit odd or out of place.
It's like walking up to 5 fully equipped enclave soldiers, explaining that you are a new brotherhood initiate and need directions to the brootherhood outpost and after they molested you with their gigantic guns you wonder why they shot you.

Nah - thats not the case this time. You could actually be attacked in the city "just like that" by a deathclaw dealing high dmg and obviously guards were doing nothing bout that. I can see some people didnt have to like the idea of loosing stuff (especially when youre new to this game or not alting with 10 crafters or just started with a new char) due to "funny event". On the other hand - the event itself was quite entertaining,

They killed all the guards at the outer gate. I was killed by the guards guarding the inner city.

As said before earlier here,this does sound entertaining. Any spin is entertaining. Even the stranger with 888 hp was kinda cool. Maybe raids can get goin with raiders commin to town :o

That's really stupid. I can't even gather electronic parts because there is Xarn with 310 hp and ~80dmg per hit.
Just great, for sure I will kill him.

you are very wrong in here. That stranger was only in northern towns, it attacked you only if you attacked him first, killing him resulted in getting loot. Now you leave your character afk in guarded town, and retarded deathclaws (who has highly boosted stats) with no point in them kills you, thats how entertaining spins differ from annoying. This is the stupidest event ever since i play fonline.

you can airstrike any character and then write such lame comment like you did just now, but it wont change the fact that this event is nothing else but highest rank of stupidity to entertain you and your friends or whoever are playing on other deathclaws, but not players.

Actually as some people already said it's entertaining, as it chanegs from the everyday routine of the wasteland. LEaving your character afk in this game isn't wise, and you perfectly know it. You can only blame yourself here. Plus, cities like VC (or any other) would be often attacked, so it isn't shocking thsi. Yes, you lost 2 spears, but see this as it is in reality - an entertainment. When guards will be fixed (soon) it won't be possible anymore, so problem is fixed here.

yes if i would be attacked by raiders or something then yes i could blame myself. But now i got killed by nothing else as gms abuse. If you would leveled up hth character and then gave him deathclaw skin maybe it would be ok if you try to raid city in that way or something, but now you gave all deathclaws overpowered stats, to make them 100 times stronger then guards in city and you call killing guards and everyone in town all the time fun? Where is the fun, being killed or getting ability to walk back to place where you were before death from other side of world map? I thought that weak guards are like a bug or exploit now, and now we see gm abusing weak guards, that is fun or entertainment? To you maybe, not for the players.
In that exact time i held 2 spears, for duel with another melee character player and was waiting till he come. You came, you killed me, you killed him. We both respawned in different places of the world i had 26% outdoorsman and 22% fa, so because of that our duel took place like after 40 minutes longer time, i had to use healing medicine for gm abuse reason and i have to rage in irc and forum because of the fact that some gm decided to have fun? So show where is the fun?

They got same stats as Tough Deathclaw lvl 1 (Saw in wiki article). =)

so yeah thats what im talking about. Maybe start killing everyone on different rout with your gm accounts im sure it would be even more entertaining.

because popping into a 'distress call' zone to end up in a turn based battle with 60 people is always fun...
i was expecting to die, or shoot something, or see something interesting
instead i was forced to log off because GMs thought it would be hilarious to get 60 people sitting around waiting for god knows whos turn it was. if it was a player group that set that up (i don't know how players would do that besides spamming radio frequencies though) then fine, they were douches, but from an event?
and yes i did request to be killed, but since nothing was happening i just logged.
all in all, i don't mind random things like these, but my above experiences in the event (shot by guards, and turn based garbage) made it quite un-fun

The turn based thing had nothing to do with an event, since it was just an encounters. (TB-fights annoying like this are often taking place near NCR, and yes, this is so boring).

And I thought that yellow dot on map is not new thing and it happend enough times to make people understand to NOT go into yellow dots because it hurts.

hmm maybe out off the topic. but i saw a deathclaw around sanfransisco. i enter his fight and see him on ground lying close to some pressgang guys with rippers and powerfists u know. he was looking wounded so i get my cheapy huntingrifle and shouted: "dont give up dude! " he just answer with a deep snarling. but hell! never see a peacefull deathclaw like this. after the fight (i just was helping to cripple some legs) he was talking with me. seems he was on the journey to the coast.
i take the loot and just notice that he heal his wounds with eating the dead body. from claw to mouth u know?
maybe they just react on this factor how do you act? haha nvm
