Hi there people, a friend of mine has a set of robes and obviously i was curious to know if anybody has any idea if these are obtainable or not. (like via quest or somethin)

I'm seeing non gms in purple pretty often, where are these coming from? I want.

They are coming from happy GM who gives items like a noob to everyone who will beg for it (or lie he is going to kill Master's army)

AFAIK, these robes are found in caves (rare).

I got mine from Rusty.He made a bunch spawn in the middle of his shit spawning routine.
You can take the one from my locker if you want it Hertz

They are also spawn in one traders inventory, as far as I know.

No, these robes are not like the Bridgekeeper's robes. Just normal robes with about the same resists and tresholds as leather jacket.

It seems wasteful to not implement the robes ( and other stuff) seein as when the 2.5d era really kicks in we wont get to see any of them in their original 2d standard(if we get to see them at all)

Yes, because then we cannot RP 2.5d/Ctulhu/Master cultists. Anyway, i think they should be available.

if its so shitty than yea why not. makes sense. imo if your gonna take equipment out you should at least have a filler to replace whatever it is. and yea fibers sounds proper.

I have 3 of these robes, I probably have them for being extremely lucky, but mostly I got them from friendship.
I think that the more GMs keep giving away these robes the less the appeal is. I think they should be rare, given the fact that they are extremely cool.

Wow, what a silly consumption. No, I never said that. I meant that GMs shouldn´t give them out at such a drastic rate. Rusty gave around 50-70 of these robes last time (according to a friend).
I never even got my robes from a GM. Overall, my point is that there is a beauty when it comes to rare items, in which you most likely can not understand.

Yeah, me and my friend plan on making a RP cult, it would be perfect if they´d release a Cathedral base or something. I still believe the Robes should be rare. Those who want these robes to be distributed as a common item are just trollin´, in my opinion.

I wish we could get the Hermit robes.
Hermit robes could be quite nice if the game allowed full animations. Of course, after 3d comes, then it could be a possibility.

I remember when I had the purple robe as a skin, I actually had a lot of fun when getting killed cause I knew the bastard that killed me would get frustrated when I wouldn't drop the robe.
Anyway, the missing animations for the hubologist robe seems to be available on the russian fonline forum...

killing people in robes is common in tla aswell, and you would die no matter what armor you were wearing lol, be it the purple riding hood or tin man mk ll. So i donno why its rare or w/e :-\

shit me personally i dont even care if i get a robe or not lol funny when a guy goes into a place like the hub a thinks he is safe with his merc and his robe going to trade some stuff when i walk in just checking to see whos hanging around and i see this purple robe and goo hmm well this is going to be intristing i wander if i can waste him and his merc befor the guards kill me that should be fun knowing some noob or guards are going to get a free robe laying in hub and they were it around like there cool tell i see him acting like he is safe and all happy and content befor i come along and shit on his happy day
lol Thats the way to doit. Someone mentioned you get robes from caves? This is confirmed?? Or by "not normal means of play"? Perhap someone could elaborate on what is normal play?

GM's spawn robes sometimes, Also red riding hood was red not Purple.

The brown "potatoe bags" aka robes ( :P ) lack the needed animations for most of the weapons, also, it's not really an armor (item), it's a critter.
Only items with fully developed Frames is the purple robe (and lol @ people discussing wether it's gay or not, some people really have some issues ::) ) , the grey/blue ones are for Admins/GMs only.

yea i can understand why power armor isnt in the game ((kinda)not really) but why the robes? The weak armor that has no affect what so ever besides adding some needed flavor to the game. Ofc there are other things to point out but we are talkin bout robes here ;D
