Title: Cant run game. (Probally cause im stupid)

Okay so I installed it and got to the menu but everytime i press play a message comes up saying this, "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_42.dlll was not found."
Can anyone help me with this i have really bad luck trying to play games on pc cause my graphics card sucks so i cant play new games but i can play older games like diablo 2 and when i try to dowload games off the internet its doesnt work.
NOTE: I read somewhere that you have to have Fallout 2 downloaded so if thats the case can someone show me where i can download it for free. I already have Fallout 1 downloaded but it doesn't run (Theres my bad luck again) And I have Windows XP if that is anything to do with it.

You have to have file's from Fallout 2 to (legally) be able to play it. No one is allowed to give you the files required. You can buy FO2 cheap on eBay, though.

Next time, read and use this topic (http://fodev.net/forum/index.php?topic=3853.0) instead of crating a new one, because this is deeply irritating.
