A Grease gun or a Combat shotty?
-
Combat shotty.
-
are u sure? b/c the range of the shotty is pretty bad...compared to the Grease gun...then again..i guess the main question is...which gun is the best gun for a small guns 2 person to use?
-
When I go out hunting I mostly use the Grease Gun, it's really good I think. :) The Ammo is crafted quick, the weapon itself also.
The damage output is good, especially if you have encounters where many critters are standing in a row etc.
The combat shotgun is a bit tougher to craft (it needs HQ Material IIRC), but has slightly better damage output IIRC, also it increases your chance to hit something thanks to the accuracy perk. It's probably a matter of taste, both has his pros and cons. ;)

Grease gun has a "cheaper" ammo, it is also cheaper and easier to craft this gun. Damage in burst can be quite nice.
Combat shotgun has a bit more expensive ammo, it needs HQ materials to craft, damage in burst is average, but larger per single shot in comparison to GG. And it is more stylish, so I choose it :>

All depends on if you have bonus ranged damage/ammo. I find I end up with tons of shotgun shells where .44 gets used up fast.

Combat Shotgun have strong firepower, but low range
Grease Gun have average range and damage average too (10-20)
but it's your choice of course :D

grease gun uses .45, nothing else does.

yeah and bursting eats through it fast and it's not really worth the mats to craft it, smg doesn't do that much worse and is way cheaper to make ammo.

Combat shotgun is better, but considering effective range of both these shooting irons, you'll most probably end up face down before you see who shot at you. If you want a nifty aimed-shot weapon, get yourself a Rangemaster or AK-112, their range will help you to even the odds. And if you do bursts, then AK-112 also suits you fine. Also take notice, these guns are easily farmable along with matching ammo, just repair them time after time...

Tommy gun.
-
the tommygun is useless with its unique 6STR for smallguns, so basically, the only useful un that uses .45 ammo is the grease gun (critted for 340 damage on a rat(instagib, yay))

well.. i take ST 6,because then can use all SG weapons

pretty much a waste of 1 SPECIAL attribute, personally, it's either 4 or 5 strength, 3 and 2 is far too little to carry necessary equipment, and I always use smallguns, ever since my total failure to get comfortable with energy weapons and bigguns, too little variation...

pancar jackhammer
-
sniper rifle at long range, and P90c at mid range, i guess the pancor jackhammer rules in close combat of the smallguns, never tested it, only used the CAWS because one can loot em in caves still...

Pancor isn't as great as it sounds, I'd take sniper or p90c any day.
