i have the jest of the charisma, though i only realy know that 3 can have 2 followers, and 10 can have 4, and i only heard that 7 can have 3 followers, is that one true? its not posted in the wiki, so help! D:

1 Charisma is yourself, each extra charisma point allows you to bring along another player. NPC slaves take 2 points each to bring along.
-
If that is so, then do you need 3 charisma to have 1 follower? I always thought it was (CH/2)-1, rounded down.

3 cha / 2 = 1.5 - 1 = 0.5 followers

Yeah, thats kind of the confusion. If the formula is right, and it rounds down, then it would be 0 followers, you would need an even amount of CH.
however what was stated by Oldfart, as well as what is implied on the wiki's slave page
http://www.fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/Slave#Enslaving
It lists all odd numbers. So i'm confused.

I pretty sure formula works like this.
(Ch/2) -1 + (if magnetic personality perk +1) = npc followers limit
The numbers round up.
But you don't need to know the formula if you know this chart
Ch amount of followers +perk
3 1 2
5 2 3
7 3 4
9 4 5
each number in the chart ends in a .5 in the formula
Because that's breaking point were you get new follower
I wonder if you could go pass limit of 5 with drugs.
How much CH can you gain from drugs (is there cap?)
if so drugs could add more to the chart
Ch amount of followers +perk
11 5 6
13 6 7
15 7 8
17 8 9
but don't think you could go that high but be crazy

ugh, I guess its good to know that now rather than later, as I just started a character with 10CH. If what Cheesy says is true then 10ch is pointless unless you go for drug boosts (assuming that works)

magnetic personality was broken, and you couldn't take it with CH 10, only with 9, don't know, if that was corrected...

I'm pretty sure it is:
(CH - 1) / 2, rounded down.
So for 3 you get 1 NPC. For 4 you get 1.5 followers = 1. For 5 you get 2 NPC, etc.

Mag. Pers. works fine, lvl 10 restriction might still exist though.

yes , the req for magnetic personality if I am right is CH 9 and below. Unless they change it but thats kind stupid needs fix.
Its even post that way on wiki perk. so only point have any CH beside 1,3,5,7,9 would be for party size or skill effect.
I'm pretty sure it is:
(CH - 1) / 2, rounded down.

The Formula is right like this (CH/2) -1= npc followers (round up)
its even list in wiki that way, That's how they have it coded probably
But formula you have comes out the same result even tho not formula they use
if you want simplify it just know the chart or think of it this way
Ever +2 CH to base Ch 1 adds follower

(CH/2)-1 rounded up and (CH-1)/2 rounded down is the same... so don't argue. ;p
5 CH = 2 followers, because (5/2)-1=1.5 ->up 2.
5 CH = 2 followers, because (5-1)/2=2 -> 2.
8 CH = 3 followers, because (8/2)-1=3 -> 3.
8 CH = 3 followers, because (8-1)/2=3.5 ->down -> 3.
The only difference is rounding up and down.
