Curret system in my opinion need some changes. Scavenging for junk comes to enering location, scrolling the map to find junk -> collect or leave. Rinse and repeat.
My suggestion:
- make junk on the ground only seen if it's in your line of sight
- reduce the cooldown to 1 minute ( or 90 sec)
That way we will really scavenge and look for usefull stuff, not wait next to junk pile waiting for cooldown. Walking and searching will already be time consuming.

Better not to reduce cooldown, but to encrease amount to 2-4. Collecting junk is real pain now, 7 peaces per 20 min. Compared with fibers 22 per 20 min. But who need so many fibers? And junk is used in most ammo and weapon crafting tables.

Seems like you guys should make a list of what should things do and post those in changelog. Then if players find that it is not like that, you will know what to fix.

This should be the case already, as it's handled as normal item.

In my case junk IS visible only when in my line of sight...
SOMETIMES I am able to see junk on the other side of the wall, but this is due to the windows...
