Title: Housing

Ok so, any advice on getting a house, or a safehouse where I can store my items? Because I already have caps stored in the bank.

Make a tent.
10 brahmin hides, then go in the desert (empty map), use Science on hides, and snap ! You got your safehouse.

Isn't there a way I can store not only caps, but items, somewhere?


I'm sick of losing items... in fact I just died from a <blocking> bug, and lost all my things


any help?

Well... build a tent and store items there. It cannot be found from other players if you don't lead them to this place.

just a warning thought brahmin now seem to chase after you in a mob and there quite fast as in crazy to kill even if there not fighting someother encounter

the new change seemed to did it they a bit harder to kill for hides
already died some trying to get hides  :(

take caps, buy 10 brahmin hide, take brahmin hides to desert, use science skill on brahmin hides, viola you have a tent. where you can store items indefinitely.

Where abouts did you encounter brahmin herds? Ive been all over the map many times and have yet to encounter even a single brahmin. My outdoorsman skill is nearly 100. My luck is kind of low though, would that have any effect on it?

near Modoc and NRC i think.  So brahmins get crazy cow sickness? "Moo, moo i said"   :D

u can find brahmins near NCR or modoc, but when u meet thems, they have 5 and will attack u. U can kill them for hides or use a rope to tame 1 of them

I got question when i put tent on random and here is also cave it will leave cave intact? or its desapear like ore/minerals depot?  i dont wanna waste 10 skins to test myself...
