FIXES:
- No timeouts for High quality metal parts, high quality alloys, high quality gunpowder.

Nice that you dont get a timeout for making them but why add them to 10mm smg?Grease gun doesnt have them but grease gun is even worse than 10mm.Will you also up the xp for making the smg now that the risk for parts just jumped up?Will you add another mine for the parts?
Edit:I really do love the changes for the most part but this is becoming a real grind fest with diminished xp for crafting and critters that give less xp than the sum of their health.Quests are fun but still few as far as the good one are concerned.

Doctor: The profession the devs forgot.
Still a 5 minute cooldown on those 16 exp healing powders, devs. Not that I'm looking forward to the carpeltunnel I'm going to get from making healing powders one at a time, in groups of 40.

I know where the mines are already,Ive been using the one near gecko.What I'm getting at here is the fact that its now a pain in the ass to craft a low lvl gun so I'm wondering if we get the xp to go with it.
Edit:Up till this increase in required materials I was having the most fun I've ever had with this game.It was some what easy to craft simple yet effective equipment and the xp gained from it reflected its simplicity so I was ok with it.I was enjoying some PvP action because the craft system was so easy and it was only a minor grind to get mats for some throw away gear.I really didnt even care if I lost my gun because i knew that in under an hour i could be up and running again.Please save the super materials for p90's and the other top teir weapons and ammo.
I dont hesitate about running into fights because I'm worried about dying,I will hesitate because i know what a pain in the ass it will be to make another decent gun

Just checked. Buying empty hypos from New Reno still costs 40 per hypo, you can buy 20 for 700 from Jules still. :/

SMG 10mm became 2lv craft and needing HQ materials
SMG grease gun became 1 lv craft - not needing HQ materials - afaik grease is stronger then 10 mm so... (will check base price on grease smg later)

No... That is the dialogue purchasing price of hypos. When the price of a hypo is apparently 2 caps from NPC's. You just seem like a general douchebag. :3 From the two posts of yours that I've read.

About that 10mm SMG, it was really a desperate and rash decision...
I guess today/tomorrow the Grease Gun too will be only for lvl2 SG, requiring 2-3 HQA... :D making SG 1st stage utterly useless...

What, because you can't make SMG's? Cry some more, first stage small gun profession can make a dozen things, compare that to all the other professions that only get a couple crafts per level.
Big guns: 1 weapon and ammo for it
Energy weapons: Upgraded laser pistol, the item to upgrade it, Cattle prods, laser rifle. THEY CAN'T EVEN MAKE THE AMMO FOR THE RIFLE.
Demolitions: 1 weapon
Armorer: Combat leather, leather, leather Mk2.
Doctor: 1 thing, that you can already make if you have 40% first aid, only difference is it doesn't give -1 perception for the doctor version.
Small guns: 16 crafts, weapons, the ammo for them, and some upgrades to them.

It's OK that SG 1 is less useful now, the only suspicious thing is M3 SMG, as I described above. It's still available without sky-high requirements while being a decent and popular burst-fire weapon, oh hey, nowadays the ONLY low-class burs-fire weapon :)
And I certainly do agree to you on other lvl 1 profs, as reaching stage 2 isn't that difficult :)

WTF? Flamer is the worst big gun and now you make it totaly unusable for my Doc/FA and big guns char. I am freaking doomed! how the hell am I meant now to kill those bandits? Will I have to make a new char again?
EDIT: Doctor always has been unfair looking to the low EXP gain ofr crafting. Like would you look at that. An armorer gets 2k EXP for some shitty armor but a doctor for making like 10 stimpaks give you less then 1k EXP. 7 minutes for broc flower? WTF? Doctor is WAY too underpowered unless he is in a faction, with someone who gives him all the stuff needed.

Yes, I am the only doctor in my gang and they are all laughing at how shitty Doctors get treated...
Also, yeah alloys for flamers is a bit steep, they're only usable in PvE and most people don't even use them for that.

All i can say is that, sorry, you're a noob. I find flamer the best PVE weapon due to its low costs and easy ammo. So far, ive shot like 3 or 5 rockets, no minigun bursts, 5 or 7 m60 shots and around 500 flamer shots. Maybe even over 600, no idea, lost the count days ago.

Today was really fun day. One lolman tryed to kill me at mine... omg, I laughted on all mine, so everyone can hear me. His pistol exploded in his hands lol. I was laughting and can't hit rocks with my cursor, 'cause of this.

lol, it knocks me up too when that happens. Yesterday one of my flamers exploded, did 20 damage to me and 10 damage to a mole rat right next to me. Would be better if that killed it.

Not everything will get fixed in one update. 5 min countdown for healing powder is a bug and will be fixed.
Alloys for Flamers - well, Alloys expense is diminished from before wipe, so having an Alloy in a recipe now is not as big a deal as before. Having said that, I can't remember if I lowered the requirements for them ... vaguely remember making GP and MP 40% Science and Alloys 60% - is this on the server at the moment?
As for small guns requiring high quality parts, it should always have been like this. If you want to craft the good stuff you're going to have to get out and get your hands dirty. For the safe option, theres always level 0 and 1 items.
As for 10mm SMG and Grease gun switching round, Grease is worse than a 10mm SMG, so I switched it - which then allowed the .45 cal ammo type to be the cheap option SMG.

Crafting gives only 1/10th xp it should give.
Eg.
Flamer fuel 24xp - should be 240xp
Rockets 124xp - should be 1240xp
Don't know what with other types ...

it was actually a bug ealier - thats how much t2 weapons cost.
and looking at you school often have bad impact on people...

Edit: Just been fixed, so small guns should now have the correct requirements after the next update. Now we will no doubt have waves of small gun users complaining, just like everything else that is too good and gets fixed. Oh the fun and games

I just wanted you to know that i really want to applause for the huge amount of work you all done for the last version of the game.
This game has gone so far from the closed beta-test to this brand new version it's amazing ! Ii've seen each new 2238's improvement so far and i can tell that you guys are really really good in doing it.
You can be very proud of what you did to the game, a lot of new features that are realy really interesting to play here, and there are also a lot more of player's involvment in the game right now. Even thought some features are still in development, it's by far the best version of the game i've ever seen.
You can check everyday the number of players that are connected on the server, and it's always growing up. I never seen so many players wandering around and doing every cool stuff you added to this version. And they keep on playing because they really like it !
So thank you for that guys, you really deserve the congratulations and the respect of every member of the community. We obvioulsy will keep on doing a lot of reports on bugs/balances/gameplay mechanics that we are testing everyday, so thanks again and keep up the good work guys ;)

Got 147 exp for crafting Psycho with swift learner... Isn't the new price 1000? :/ God, I'm not even getting normal exp for crafting my already gimped drugs.

But yes, it's supposed to be 200 exp per, as far as I can tell.

Pyscho requires other finished items which don't get xp for them. In that way they are essentially an upgrade to Super Stims.
From what I remember it should be 700*0.2 xp. Maybe I was feeling particularly generous anda dded 7xp on ;)

before the wipe it is only player driven supply of memtats, buffout so you can get good price with those

Now you can get exactly the base price of drugs from traders too. Exactly the same as every other profession.

I mean it is wasteland, high tech stuff such as memtats should be scarce. I have no prob traders can spawn healing powders and such. Before wipe I see the player driven demand/supply and scarcity of high level drugs but now its gone.

Ah, well, traders restock rate is a little fast at the moment, I agree - its still the same as when Traders were nigh on useless before the wipe.

I means it is pointless to craft drugs now, maybe only stimpaks and super stimpaks (the material of stimpak is more expansive then stimpak itself) because you or your team mate may use them. Other drugs such as memtats (400 caps) or buffout (275 caps) is dirt cheap by traders so just buy those from traders.
On the other hand you can craft 100 9mm and sold it for 700 caps with your 16% barter skill and you don't even need a profession to do it.

Yes, but crafting 9mm gets you $2000 an hour, crafting level 3 drugs gets you $5000 an hour.
Stimpack material prices should be fixed now. Hypos @ $10, Bio Med @ $25

Hey, devs, thanks for wiki update, it's now much better for crafters (if not mentioning empty .gif for new materials).
I have some quick questions for you:
- are you going to do anything about millions-of-gunpowder-manual-crafting? (some kind of automation would be very nice)
- broke traders, who have items nobody wants to buy, but no money?
- millions of same items traders have (is it possible to sort items - if trader has 10 same items, to show only one (of best quality?))
- what player limit are you planing to have? (ncr, when server has ~600 players, is quite busy, what are you going to do, when server reaches 2000, or 10000 players?)

But I agree, NCR is overcrowded, it even slows down my computer so I don't visit it anymore. :(
Hub is the place to live for me atm and I'm fine with it, because they made it much more attractive with the last update. If more such improvements for other towns will come in future I'm sure that not every player will dwell in NCR anymore. :)

I mean the professions are not balanced. With the current exp system it is really discourage alts so you have to focus on 1 character. Plus it is also hard to exping via only crafting so you have to do a combination of crafting/gethering/PvE/quests.
SG profession is fun, you crafting and you use your gun and ammo to shoot people etc. But doc profession is painful. You only craft sth other people hardly use. So if you want all the profession have more or less the same attractiveness to players do sth with current doc profession. Demolition is another pity profession. There are no trapped maps, and you can only craft a handful of items with 2 lvls.

Don't know about after-wipe, but before wipe demolisher=fast XPing, you don't even need anyone's help. Just craft grenades all the time and spend 1-3 grenades per encounter to kill everything there.
My suicider-alt before wipe got 6th lvl in few hours. I even started to think about SG+throwing character, but it's useless anyway. ;p

I'm not sure, I think if we were going to get that amount of people we would have already.
Maybe when the server files are released and we see servers that cater to different people's tastes the population of FOnline gamers may hit 2000. But not with just 2238. People just want too different things to just have one server.

I was thinking they could put in a small list of server channels, sorta like how runescape works in a way. Thing is, that would probably take a few weeks and devs are focusing on more "important" things :P

Nooo, I can't believe that some time they will show codes and make avaible to make your own servers. If every PvPer will go to PvP-server-arena, every crafter on... don't even know, every roleplayer on role-play-area, etc. Then FOnline world become really boring. Till we see every type characters in one place, this is a good game.

That's not exactly what I was getting at but I see your point. I just meant a few servers that are pretty much the same just not so crowded like it is now.

Solar I think he's talking about the fact that the other professions take skills that still have a use for things other than crafting.
Weapon professions take the weapon skill themselves, armorer takes repair (Albeit not as useful and it's hard to repair things.) and most take science (Another not quite as useful one but sciencing broken weapons saves resources.)
Doctor takes First Aid and Doctor... We can't use First Aid during combat now so low cooldowns don't help (The cooldowns also seem to be higher... 2 minutes at 150%, I swear it used to be under a minute.) and since every time you use first aid on somebody, they get 5 minute weakened state, you have to also use doctor on them, or wait it out. (At 110% around 3 minutes cooldown.)
On top of this... Doctors craft items people willl rarely/never use, and don't really have a use unless you want to become a buffout or mentat addict.

suggestion
remove the workbench demand from healing powder receipt and add demand 2_flint_instrument as a tool or primitive_tool.
and reduce the skill requirements for weak healing powder

I don't mind removing work bench requirements. What skill requirement did I put in the end? It was just arbitrary and can decrease if its too high.

i think weak healing powder had first aid at 40% (this is just of the top of my head..please correct me if im wrong)
Since we're on the subject, are there items that require a certain %age of two skills?
because I was thinking that a outdoorsman 20-25% and first aid 20-25% would be reasonable (and fairly logical) for weak healing powder (as an example)
