Title: New special encounters suggestion thread

I suggest a thread where we can introduce our ideas to new special encounters, which might be implemented later in the game.
Something like
or something falloutish-funny, whatever you want. SEs shouldn't be just for farming rare stuff, this isn't falloutish at all.

in fo1, there was the "they really need to develop enviromental controls out here" encounter.
ya, that one. always hit me in the mountians.

A old passenger wagon on a piece of track, full of insane ghouls. When asked, they say the are travelling to their grandma.
A more saner ghoul nearby will explain that he brings them sometimes food and water in pity.

This is excellent. Also, Johnny N. wanted to implement a farm encounter there, will he do it now now that he was promoted to a developer?

That already sort-of exists, you canbuy the truck IF you have the money.

For a few minutes, your char is 10 across the board, 999 hp, ap, and the other catagories, and donesn't pay for ANYTHING.
Then a few minutes later, the mirage disappears and they only have what they had on them.

Ok, the idea needs some tweaking, but you ge tthe point....

Proterran Encounter. You encounter old pk-ape who will measure you.
You are required to have 3 bonus ranged damage, INT3 and cha1 to receive +15 bonus to your first aid. If you are hybrid or bad character in some way, he will kill and loot you.

Actually I've met Proterran in game few months ago. This was so unusual that I had to confirm his identity and it was indeed the real Proterran! He came to see what's new.

Such a shame he has never been heard from again =(

Guardian of forever encounter. It lets you re-live the vault dweller for a few minutes. Spawn into the fight with the master, he has 1 hp left, you have a plasma rifle in your hands and shoot him. There are a few corpses lying around (Nightkin) one corpse has a stealthboy and a 100/100 laser rifle, the other has a stealthboy and a 100/100 plasma pistol. You can search the master's corpse and it has a 2x 98/100 gatling lasers. (Much less valuable to a player when not 100/100). This would be quite a profitable encounter. Seems cool, right?

Why even should special encounters give valuable loot?
They should bring exp&fun there, not loot, for loot you can do farming, killing players or crafting and trading.

Yup. That's why its a "SPECIAL" encounter, because it is easy to do and very helpful.
