Uh... Al is a good guy, but it is your car. Most of the cars are cheap and easy to obtain, not really worth it to steal.
Also lock picks work when you put them in your primary hand and use the skill from either the hotkey or Skilldex. But most cars have a high LP requirement. For example a Hummer can still get a failure with 250% LP and Exp Picks.

Ya, I have to pm him from home. Phone right now. :/
The car is worth my fortune... sadly. (Not a big fortune.)

Ok, so the rest of it.....
Is that I placed the lockpicks in his hand, but his lockpick skill didn't budge. Even tried dropping them to see if I was already seeing the higher skill level, but it stayed 44%. Not saying that would have helped, cause clearly it wouldn't, bbut I dunno WHAT else I could have done. :/
The set was made bby a TLL'er (as a favor), so I dount they would have been sabotagrred, even if she could have (which I haven't seen).

It does not visibly increase the stat. and even 84% would probably not be enough :D

For making caps obviously.
No seriously, if you have them i`ll pay.

Caps, Drugs, Weapons(except Gatlings and rarities), Ammo, Cars - name your price.
