Title: Respawn points for followers

I just recently tried out getting a follower and have a melee mutant. I read that you can set respawn points at your tent/faction base for your followers but i cant figure out how to do it. I have checked the dialog for him and my campfire. Please help

isnt that for companions only? i think when mercs die the dont respawn..
