Title: Joint accounts in banks

i wonder how do you make it, ok you say to banker i want to make joint account he says 10k, you pay him 10k, and how do you tell him with who you want to share your account?
do you type nicknames or do you have to bring these persons with you when you make your account shared?
and is there a possibility to make a shared account and after it to give others possibility to use that account when you want. Thanks for answers.
